It must be removable.
I agree, it is useful, but I also like being able to see the entire screen. I think It should be an option. One idea i read elsewhere mentioned making the map like Diablo II style, so you can dim it and see through it. That could be really neat. Anothe
alright, thx. And it's set to NOT have notifications. One of the first things I turned off when they added them. I used to overclock my cpu on my older computer, but I hadn't ever fiddled with my graphics card.
yeah, i enjoyed plowing through the side lane to steal the enemies spawns a few times :-P
I've never overclocked the card and I don't think it is pre-overclocked, and no other game has given me problems, but I've only had the card since may. And where can you get overclocking programs?
I'm about 99.9% sure it's not overclocking. How would I make myself 100% sure?
In the middle of a game Demigod freezes for about 10 seconds, then with a horribly reduced resolution i can see the top part of an error window saying Windows: Display Driver Stopped Responding, after which the screen goes black. I can still hear things going on such as error bleeps and such, but I can't see anything. I had not completely updated my display drivers the first time this occurred, but I have since updated them and the problem has occurred 2 other times. The first two times befor
The Rook ability "structural transfer" and its upgrades are not restricted to the levels they are meant to be obtained at (II @ level 6, III @ level 10 and IV @ level 15). Instead, you can obtain them at any level as long as you have already learned the prereqs. EDIT: You have to be lvl 3 to obtain Structural Transfer II (not 6) and 5 to obtain Structural Transfer III (not 10) Unfortunately my game crashed before I could f
Has anyone hit the 't' key during play? I only recently found out that it makes the screen follow your demigod. You almost don't even need mouse scrolling with the 't' key.
Right now I personally just focus on the Demigod with T, rotate with spacebar and zoom out when I need a bigger overview. This way you can easily keep your fingers on QWER.
Thanks! I hadn't pressed the 'T' key yet, it really does help. I don't know if I even care about mouse scrolling anymore!
The first few matches of Demigod I have played have been very ejoyable, but one suggestion that I have is to make the teams more clear. I have little problem differentiating my creeps and the enemies' creeps, but when there are two or more of the same demigod on different teams, it is hard to tell whether they are on my team or not.
I agree with the agree-ers on agreeing. Mouse scroll is much more natural then constantly zooming out so that you can zoom back in elswhere.
Yeah, but then what happens when you have apples and oranges and your opponent has apples and watermelons, and you try to use oranges in the game while your opponent tries to use watermelons? Will it be in like Supcom:FA, where the game data for the watermelons is there but you just can't select them in the lobby, or like other games where you don't have it at all and can't play against someone who tries to use watermelons?
Well in games like Guild Wars and WoW when the
Better late then bad, that's what I always say! And I think the last announcement was Sept 5. Apparently they are going to be at Pax and didn't want to start the Beta while no one was there. Or something like that. Check it: [link="http://forums.demigodthegame.com/320708"]WWW Link[/link]
I totally agree with you Cosine. I understand completely how every action affects the team. There's no way around it: someone with less experience will most likely bring the rest of the team down. But it is how the rest of the team handles it that upsets me. Instead of trying to give the new player hints or any help at all, they just yell and scream about how badly they've made everything. At least this has been my experience. I've given up on battlenet and generally only play DotA at LANs now.
there totally SHOULD be!!! I'd play as him every time!
Dota Player, thanks for proving our point about how the DotA community is rash and there is no hesitation to berate people, even new players, for their mistakes. When people start out, they do make mistakes. It's called learning. Take a chill pill, it's just a game. In the meantime... can someone make sure the Demigod community DOESN'T end up like how DotA's community has turned out? I just wanna play and have fun, even if I royally suck!
man... each passing day makes it harder and harder to wait. not that i have a choice, but i can't stop thinking about how awesome this game is going to be. I can't wait for the beta so i can get just a little taste of what you have in store for us!
Awesome. I love DotA but always thought that there should be more to it then just fighting each other back and forth. To hear that Demigod will add something to the mix is a great thing. Looking forward to it more then ever!
really all i can say is... AMAZING!
It sounds like Demigod is going to have the perfect match of Multiplayer (ranked matches), Single player (all this special "we're not doing a standard campaign thing"), as well as mixing them together so that you can have demigods that become stronger in single player so that you can have multiplayer games that are affected if you so choose. Everything I hear just makes me so much more excited!
omg excited x98703245 can't wait!
looking forward to it! ...and also sharpening my pitchfork! :-P
i keep having spontaneous plans saturday nights, sorry guys. ill do my best to make next week... ...assuming you guys still play?
w00t looking forward to august!
