After having to uv map one part of that damn turret I modeled I see why 3-D modelers make w

I find it unfortunate that the graphics of the game is what costs so much when the game play is what really makes the game. That's really what it comes down to. Demigod is more expensive because it's prettier.
No, the game is free. You CAN buy things for your account like new skins for your characters (nothing that will give players an advantage), but you can play League of Legends completely free if you want to. and gegsh, there are a lot of reasons why Demigod isn't/can't be free. One of them is that a lot more money/time has gone into the game. One example of this is the graphics. creating each map and demigod costs a great deal of money. However, following LoL's lead, it might m
Yay for 1 year of DG! Although it seems like much longer, but maybe that's cuz I was in the beta.
I only read the OP as I have to leave in a moment, so please excuse me if I repeat something that has already been stated. I LOVE Supcom 1, as does my friend who got me into it. It's one of the most strategic games I have ever played. It is quite complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it, the complexities really enhance the gameplay. Also, AMAZING graphics. Now, I haven't played supcom 2 yet, but what I've heard quite a few times from around the interwe
What's wrong with Regulus? :-P
Sorry!
That sounds pretty rad! I don't know if this is possible but... maybe also switch assassins to generals and generals to assassins? Not necessarily all of them, but if you switch a few of them, that would be pretty cool. Before the beta actually started, I had actually assumed the rook was going to be a general. Maybe that could actually become reality?
Usually when you purchase as gift you put in your information, then when you hit purchase as gift it goes to a screen to enter your friend's information. You should have been able to put your friend's email here. As for fixing it, SD is really good about that. I did the same thing before they had that "purchase as gift" button and they fixed it no problem. Steam on the other hand... don't get me started...
I would like to add to my above post by stating that I would rather there be no per-turn mana cost in general, but I thought I'd bring up the idea of having it for enemy players' units as opposed to not being able to charm enemy players' units at all
Myself: Rook - "Have you ever won a game of chess?" Roommate: TB - "Is your piss hot piss, or is it cold?"
They are in game. Just select them as characters but before you hit ok, open up their info screen and scroll down.
I agree with the irony, but it also makes sense. why not study something you are interested in? :-P
Good luck! And what's your thesis on?
Yeah, I actually play TB a lot - I really like my fire build - but I do pretty much only lan this game with friends, so maybe it would be harder in a more competitive setting? I don't know...
I disagree with the OP, but Synn... you aren't really making the community look any better when you respond like that.
I suggested Steam as a means of download and advertising but not necessarily to play the game. I am sure Stardock can have the Multiplayer work normally even if the game is acquired via Steam.
I have yet to see any game that is purchased on steam that is able to run without steam running. so, 1) I doubt Steam would let Demigod run without Steam running, 2) Steam and Impulse are major competitors, so I don'
As unlikely as I think most of this is, I think it is mostly a pretty good plan. However, I don't think it needs to be released on Steam. Make a package deal on Impulse, that's fine. Otherwise it would be like HL2 or L4D2 being released on impulse. I think this is what you meant, but for clarification, would the expansion be standalone like DoW expansions? You can play as the chars from the expansion, but not the original? I think that would be cool. Don't use copy pro
[EDIT] And another thing. I've chosen 'Dark Side" in Pantheon... And as a result I can choose only generals... WTF? I thought bad guys are: UB, TB, LE, DA, QoT...
You are correct in who you think the dark side characters are. However, the pantheon is currently Assassins vs. Generals.
This was my understanding: the code is written at GPG and Stardock just runs it through QA. Obviously they send ideas back and forth to each other, but I thought the code was written mostly at GPG.
people read the intro to that, right?
It’s time for endless top 10 lists. So what makes my list special? The answer is that while other top 10 lists are merely the opinions of people, this list has been put together by teams of scientists working in laboratories for months on a new super computer to determine the definitive list of the 10 best games released in the decade based on their quality, design, and impact.
Actually, DemiCom, it recently did drop in price from $40 to $30. Although I've seen it at retail at a lower price ($15), they have dropped the price on impulse.
Since the mod manager was created we've been getting tons of new content. Maybe not "official" content, but it's great to have all these new things to play around with. I think that's a big start. Once they (GPG/Stardock) make the compilation of their top mod choices/officially chosen mods, I think we could really see some changes in the popularity of the game.
Agreed! I was actually going to post this on a specific mod post once and I think I got sidetracked. It would be good though because sometimes I forget what version number I have, but if the post had a release date for the most recent one I'd be more likely to remember how recently I downloaded it over what version number I downloaded. And of course, thank you modders for doing all that modding! It's great trying all these new things out!
