Nah, want to play Pantheon and Custom against others, plus can't have both of us use the same copy at the same time. I don't think... not ethical, anyway.

I'm going to buy a second copy of Demigod, but I need to be sure two people on the same network can play Custom Games and Pantheon, too, at the same time. I have a relatively new router (Buffalo AirStation) that works reliably. Sooner I know, the sooner I spend another $40 on Stardock! :D

I want to buy a second copy of Demigod so my son can play, too. Should I do it under my account? Or do I have to create another account just for the second copy?

This is a huge deal for me. I'd love to have clan-vs-clan battles. Also, compete as teams in Pantheon. That would make for some great matches. Two on two, or more! Custom is nice, but ... hmm, maybe custom will suffice. Still, clans and teams would be fantastic.

This is why the game needs a demo. People will buy the game if they like the game.

I have this problem too. Or when I try to join a Pantheon game. Do we loose favor points for disconnecting before a game starts? Because sometimes I'll wait 5-8 minutes for a Pantheon game, then give up and click CANCEL. Do I loose favor points for doing that? If so, that should be corrected.

Ok, progress! I can get Demigod to run 100% reliably (so far, at least). Clans are coming, I'd guess, since the button has been on the website for quite a while with "Coming Soon" displayed when you click it... Personally, it will make the difference as to whether or not I buy a second copy for my son. :) Otherwise, he says he's content to remain playing DotA via the Warcraft3 mod.

Ok, this is, with all due respect, nearly useless. By their own admission they don't really know or appreciate RTS. They basically don't seem to get the point of the game, how to accomplish success with it and they're "reviewing" a early beta. I hope no one takes the the wrong way, but it wasn't worth the time to download, let alone the time to listen to.

It does make pre-ordering the game a bit of a joke. I purchased the game 3 months or more ago with the promise that I would be able to play it the day it was released. If I had know, I might've just walked into Gamestop on my way home from work and picked it up there. But then I never would have been able to participate in the beta! So it was worth it! :)

Depending on who I'm playing, I'd almost rather be solo. One match it was 4 onto just me. No AI on my side, just two players plus two AI on the Light side and me on my Unclean Beast on the Dark side. Match was Slaughter (first team to kill 20 Demigods wins). I barely, barely eeked that out before they pulled down my citadel. Intense. But wildly fun!

For a one-two combo, Regulus and just about any general who can survive well are nearly unbeatable. Frankly, while I favor Darkness, I have to conceed it is nearly impossible to beat Regulus sometimes.

There are unfortunately a couple groups of people who won't buy the game. Those who aren't terribly interested in it, but if someone gives them a copy they might tinker with it, and those who are spoiled jerks who feel the world owes them a favor. But there are those of us who I love gaming on the PC. I restarted Impulse and when I tried updating (like I had done about a half dozen times already this morning), this time instead of saying that my key was invalid and would I like to update or change my registration info, it instead told me that I couldn't update the installed version. Whoa!! The "Top Demigods" page ROCKS HARD! I love all those stats! So the reason I hate Regulus is completely bourn out, eh HorseRadish? :D j/k - I know those stats aren't accurate. Heh....

I actually wouldn't like this. It will expose builds that correlate to success. I think that is part of the skill and being handed the recipe for a powerful build kinda deminishes the accomplishment for those of us who experiement and tweak...? Just a thought.

I'm having this problem too. It doesn't happen every single match, but it does happen many matches.
