I'd say, higher reward the is splitted. Two reasons 1. No yellings like : "Zomg you feeder, banned wtfqq" if you keep the amount rewarding but still as low as possible. 2. More motivation to play supporter - a big flaw of dota. Btw, Dota creeps do more than just block. They react on attacks against themself, nearby heros or nearby tower. So do towers there. Its a simple system, but its more than just block + running around. Well, but it makes testing stuff harder, if rooks just plows through enemy lanes like a bulldozer on steroids. Slight adjustment wont upset the whole balancing. I trust GpG, that if rnd people like me state such an issue, that they first think about it, and then maybe change it.. but in a such a degree they want it, and not just what is suggest. I'd prefer a guessing game over the information dumping in Dota. One look, you know what the opponent will play for the entire game, know how to counter it, even can guess how good he plays. It just throws ALL informations you need at you. I dont want that again. So if you want to know, what your opponent is up to - for exp. - his skillbuild. You'll have to look what skill he uses etc. etc. So remove the tactical blabla denying etc. but add something more strategical like : What will

I think the lvl should say something about the strenght of a demigod. Say a newbie with a lvl 16 Demigod could loose against a real good player with a lvl 11-13 Demigod. But a decent player with Lv 16 would kill a good player with lv 11-13, just because he got more/better skills and most likely better items. If EVERYthing is decided only trough skill, add last hitting, denying etc. +start at lvl 25 with full gear. Else everythng before is just a time-waste-machine. Items + Lvl

I'd say the game should be for everyone with the motto: Easy to learn, hard to master. Dodging stuff is cool, but a decent player just goes and dodges like 30-40% of your arrows + fetch some Evade equip and bam you'll deal 0.0000% damage to target melee which runs up to you and whacks ya face off. @ Odit, i play dota since the 3.xx versions, which is like 3-4 years ago. But i've to say the recepies are a bane for new players. PERIOD. For players like you and me, they aren't a problem. Inno, the attackspeed works like this. Attackspeed is named Rate of Fire in the Lua files, and describes how many shots/hit per second you do. Example the Rook. Rook has a RoF of 0.3, this means he needs 3.33sec. for a swing. K, so i'd suggest: Remove the Stats from the Wand, and add the slight nerf i explained. Make the other scroll cost 1.5k but it should port you anywhere on the map for 1 time. So you could jump right into a fight - so LoS is needed to port. So long, Aspartem [e digicons]:snowman:[/e]

Hm, at the dota-fora everyone hated the idea of sharing gold - well elitist-epeen community^^ But, with this new game, we maybe can get rid of some epeen behavior. So i'd say split gold for hero kills is also an incentive to play supporters. In Dota supporters are mostly played in league / clan games.. pubbies just want to own. 1. Recepies are bad for newbies. 2. Denying is not needed here. Last hitting still counts, you just last hit whole grps with 1-2 hits. But killing creeps is still important. 3. I'm also scared that 8 Demis are not enough for a retail version. And they say, making a new demigod costs alot, so we sure have to wait a few months till the first content-patch will come. Yeah, i dont see a problem with modding. Just state that the game is a modded game + no matchmaking, like you said already. I can live without it, but modders can help a community to be stable imo. @ Telefrog, just because only WC3 and DoW got modders, this doesnt mean that Demigod will have none.
