As a test some people may want to create a shortcut to your Demigod.exe (If one isn't already created) and add the /nosound option. 1) Select your Demigod shortcut, right mouse-click and select properties 2) In the Shortcut TAB in the target box after the Demigod.exe add "/nosound" (without quotes) Alternatively you could also try disabling System Reverb in the sound options and check performance. To check FPS during the game use the "/" on your numpad (without quotes)

Have any of you tried disabling Anisotropic Filtering? We would like to know what work around may have stopped the crashing. Are any of you using Nvidia's Nhancer program and creating thier own profile? If you are please PM me or post what settings you are using.

What are your system specs and do you have your DirectX and Video Drivers up to date? One rare thing is that having a Logitech Webcam (with older drivers) or Goggle Desktop may cause a known issue in Demigod.
Do people have many background tasks running while playing? One thing worth trying would be to delete the cache files located here: C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Application Data\Gas Powered Games\Demigod\cache\resources (Replace USER with your appropriate user account)
I have a couple of questions for those who are experiencing this problem. Do you have Google Desktop or a Logitech webcam installed? Are any of you running Windows Vista and if so have you tried running the game as an administrator?
