There've been a lot of recent posts about new favor item ideas. I know the lack of favor items that are worth getting has been a source of frustration to the community for a while. So I thought maybe I could come up with an item to add to the list of widely favored favor items, and it took me about 20 seconds to come up with this. Mark of the Failer Here's how it works. You get into a 1v1 fight with an enemy DG and IT'S O

Everyone is with you on this one but it's not high on the list of priorities for GPG. They already worked on it for the last big patch and if you read Frogboy's journals you'll see how many things they have on the slate for v1.1 . They aren't going to concentrate on AI again for at least a while because there are a lot more important things missing from the game that the community is ranting should be in. I personally think they're not thinking about it at all at this point because realis
I've seen a lot of people complaining about "noobs" buying priests too early in the game which guarantees a "GG" and win for the other team. People complain about teammates buying upgrades they shouldn't. I just thought of a solution that I think would help this. And I don't think it hurts anything. What if you have a little window/notification that pops up on the side of the screen for all teammates when a player clicks to buy a citadel upgrade? It would say what playe
Nice 10yrs old statement... Is there only kids playing this game? I wish it was rated Mature.
That would hardly make a difference, if any. The vast majority of parents don't know what their kids are buying and what the ratings really amount to, and most of the ones who do don't care.
Does this mean you're available?
Two objective questions and one opinion question for discussion. :D I crashed in-game today for the first time in a long time. I was in a 2v2 on Crucible and my teammate and I were losing since the beginning. But somewhere mid-game we started making a come-back. We were just coming up to the Valor flag together, my teammate and I and I was feeling that epic comeback feeling rising up in me and then my screen blinked a couple times, my resolution changed, my desktop back
I'm very aware this is probably the 300th post that sounds like a bunch of complaining, but please hear me out. I'd like to describe my personal opinion on the state of this game. I want to give what I think is a fair summation of what the situation has been like from the beginning (well, Beta). And I also have a few genuine and legitimate questions for anyone who might have their answers. First, let me state two things clearly. 1) I have strongly supported Demi
Quoting goldmull, reply 8why did they remove the "exit to windows"-button? Awwww lil mister ragey can't quit to windows from multiplayer, how sad
Why call that raging? He asked what the rationale was for removing a useful button.
Dunno if a similar problem plagues any other demigods' range skills since the new patch. I've seen this happen 5 times already today. I'll hit spit and click on an enemy, but if the enemy moves out of range sometimes my UB will just walk over to that location where the enemy was and freeze and stutter there. I have to click a spot on the ground to get him unfrozen, but sometimes he stays frozen and stuttering regardless of that, and is like that for a second or two before he moves again. It's
I like this idea. It would be a great help in the thick of a fight not to have to spend the extra time to click yourself (or your shambler).
Sounds like someone should browse the shops some more.
Yeah, I thought of that, Archaic, but that's still a bit inconvenient. I think there should be a more simple, direct, and precise way to do this.
It's nice to see people who are sympathetic to others' unforeseeable problems.
I'm not a fan of the way the game automatically puts newly bought usables into the next available slot and they're permanently stuck there until they're used. I generally try to buy usable items from the shop in the same order every game so I can get used to just hitting their hotkeys without thinking about which slot they're in and wasting valuable split-seconds looking down to see which hotkey I have to hit. If I have a health potion in slot 1 and a mana in slot 2 and I use both, then the n
I haven't heard anyone else mention this so I'm wondering how many people experience this bug. So you hit tilde a few times to get to the selected health bars you want to see. I always go for the one where the only health bars visible are the ones over demigods' heads- makes it easier to spot their health among the chaos. Thing is, from time to time random demigods' (both allies and enemies) health bars will just vanish from over their heads. I can't see the bars at all and have to mouse over
Wow wtf Reg you're right... Is one person using two accounts to make different complaints? o_0
T1ger, I agree with you on all accounts. Also, that is HILARIOUS.
Still not fixed for me. Got a 7900 GS here. Game updated, video drivers updated and all. The disadvantage of not being able to see some of these effects (mist, circle of fire) is ridiculous. Anyone sure that GPG IS actually working to figure this thing out? If they're not I'm kinda pissed and feel ignored, because this issue has been voiced a lot and still no fix is out.
or super annoying...
Yes, Paladin, great idea. And Abbott, I agree. Some accompanying audio notification would be helpful too.
I'd really like to be able to see the citadel upgrade screen from anywhere on the map, just so I can see what allies may have bought while I was away from the citadel. It'd be really strategically valuable to know on the fly what upgrades your team has at certain moments.
Simple problem. Before yesterday's patch or the previous day's, when I brought my fx and music volume levels down to zilch (so I could listen to my own music and still hear important notifications like "A light tower is under attack") and would quit Demigod, upon my next loadup they continued to be at zero. Since the new patch, my changes don't stick. The sliders LOOK like they're set to zero, but there's now music playing and I get all the fx sound too. I smell a bug. Please fix! I'm lazy an
Chaos, you really hate being polite, don't you?
Yeah, I should've mentioned that. I know there's a lot more vital stuff to fix, so I'm not whining about this to get done. Just an idea that hopefully gets looked at after the important stuff is handled. And I won't sue you for playing Easies. We all started low at first. It just takes experience to get better. Time is all it takes. :)
When the 'autofill' button was first implemented in the skirmish lobby, I thought, "Thank goodness. Now I don't have to keep clicking to insert AI players." But upon clicking that button, I found that it automatically adds 'Normal' level AI's. That was unfortunate for me because I only ever want to play against Nightmares (anything lower is even easier than they are). So I'm humbly but strongly requesting that that button has a little drop-down where you can select the
