Ouch. Honest question: do most people think Dungeon Siege sucked? I didn't think it was trying to copy D2, and I had a blast playing it for YEARS. I loved the art design. And no other game made me laugh the way I did after spending hours wandering around to finally find an awesome helm which turned out to be a paper bag called the "Sightless Helm." :D Anybody else ever find that thing?

Now I have to go play Portal again.

I would love to see Magikarp flopping around the map as a Demigod, and his only skill would be "Evolve" which would turn him into Gyrados and do instant-kill hits. Whoah. Heaven, I was looking at that picture and thinking "Yeah, the colors on the screen were pretty groovy like this" and then I noticed babies and the whole picture suddenly took on a strange and unnatural feeling lol. I'm so with you. A week ago I made a drinking game out of Demigod. Took a shot every time I died and two every time I got a kill. One for an assist. It was awesome. Halfway through the game my team was winning on Leviathan I told them what I was doing and somebody responded "Oh so thats why you were dancing around the area after your kills?" Yes. That's why. :D

I like the idea, but the developer team doesn't have the budget to fiddle with aesthetics like this now that the game has launched and the company is working on another game. There are important things for them to work on in terms of game mechanics/content, and that's where they'll be allotting their budget. Not toward improving the game's visuals. Nothing against you or the idea (again, I like it), but they don't have the time or budget to work on things like this.

Well when you look at it that way... yeah. That does suck. Explains (in part) why Queen is least played and least successful.

No matter this character's stats/playstyle, this will never get made simply because it is far too much like Erebus. Death. Undead minions. Transferring life. These ideas have been done and won't be used again on a new demigod, simply because people want variety and there are other ideas that haven't been used that the developers will look to instead. Uh. You're legally allowed to do this? You guys think Stardock would actually assist someone in doing this? I was under the impression that this sort of thing is not condoned by companies. I mean, why would they help you do this? What's in it for them? Good PR and word of mouth??
