Yeah, I noticed that the OP thinks there was a change and I ignored that point because it's wrong. Maybe I should just start a new topic addressing my point? I didn't think it was derailing but if people will focus on his mistake then I'll start a new topic. This has bugged me for a long time too. EDIT: Yeah, I'm making a topic about it.

The point is that Oak is the only demigod who can waltz up to a flag and lock it without even the possibility of being interrupted. He even has time to tp away without even the possibility of being killed. THAT is a huge problem. He is the only demigod who can do that, and having an Oak on either team that realizes this ability is game-breaking. The only time I'd say this would N
Quoting Frogboy: "In a couple of weeks, we hope to unveil here the single player concept. I think people will be pretty pleased as those who are worried that single player will merely be skirmishes or some scripted campaign need not worry. We have something really special and unique in development."

I seriously doubt he was talking about demigod.
Actually I remember that from an early post Brad made about Demigod from th
Honestly, objectively, and without getting into my own opinion: They are not going to remove stats/rankings and doing so would be a foolish decision on their part. The fact is that a lot of people play games online to compete with others. That's where they get their fun out of the game from. That's why a lot of people buy games like this. To compete. And the sense of competition requires stats and rankings. So if they removed stats and rank, a BIG portion of the
The connectivity issues have largely been resolved. Almost everyone has no problem connecting to others one way or another. There are still some disconnects in-game and a few crashes here and there, but many of those are tied to people's specific setups. By and large the game connects just fine online now.
I'm confused. As far as I can see, you're hurting your own case by providing what appears to be a Stardock mod's (or Brad's?) words to you. I've been on the fence about the whole locking-threads subject. You just made my position easy to decide. I agree with whoever it is you were talking to. If you're saying nothing constructive but hurting other potential customers' reception of their product, Stardock has every right to burn your pointless posts. Doom and gloom posts do absolutely nothing
Random on the topic of demigods, not pr0n. Or lolcats.
Rofl, I love how you specified what sort of 'random' ideas you were not looking for. Prolly warranted. I think there should be a more elemental sort of DG. Somebody who's not so corporeal as all the rest. So far Oak is the closest to that, since we don't know what sort of 'body' he's hiding under there.
I'm hungry too, now. Nice post. Made me smile.
- in a game with high-skilled players. Based on what I've seen of him and the hearsay from good players I know, he can't compete with the top-tier Big Three. Is that true? I'm curious. When he first came out and I looked at his skills I saw some potential for pretty nasty skillsets, but as the dust settles from his release I'm getting the impression he's far too squishy to be valuable to a team mid-late game, at least if the enemy team has UB/Oak/LE. So whi
And if anyone is going to reply with a 'rofl' or something, I'd rofl with you if it wasn't me this was happening to. Since it is, I'm just sitting here confused.
I know I'm gonna get flamed for caring about stats at all, but I'm a competitive person and it's a personal pleasure of mine to try and keep my win percentage as high as I can. That said... The last few games I've played and won have made my percentage go down. Really. I was at 73.7 or .8 earlier today and have won 2 games since, and my percentage is at this moment 73.5. Same thing happened yesterday. I noticed the numbers go down after I won a game.
But could he beat Chuck Norris?
Oh yeah, I remember him now. Thanks for the heads-up. Added a note. I love that new system. :D
Ah, cool. Which do you like better, Railroads or Railroad Tycoon 3?
I might be missing something, but what's the point of this thread?
I disagree, Ryan. I've been having generally the same experience. Actually I've seen a lot less lobbies up, but with the new overlay games seem to get started quicker and people are pretty willing to balance teams (except for the certain premades who join lobbies hoping to bash randoms). Though I also feel less people are playing, those who have stuck around (by my experience) are the nicer ones. I'm very glad for that. :D
That join lag made me ditch the beta overlay. That and the fact that it didn't list games from before reset so could be inaccurate anyway.
Alterschism: Health and Mana bar text (the numbers) is not supposed to be viewable unless you hover over it.
Oh. Whoah. Those numbers have ALWAYS been visible all the time for me ever since the beta. It's only since 1.19 that I have to mouse over the bars to be able to see them. I really like them being visible all the time so I can see the exact values (since adding hp/mana items makes the visible depletedness of th
I found myself laughing harder with each successive reply to this thread. I love you guys. You just made my day. :D
Can someone explain how the scaling on damage mitigation works when stacking armor? Seems like after a certain amount of armor stacking it anymore hardly does anything. Does the mitigation slow down exponentially after a certain number?
HP and mana numerical values sometimes do not show up over the bars at the bottom of the interface. It seems to require that I die before they start showing up again. In the meantime mousing over the bars does make the values pop up but they vanish again once the pointer leaves the area.
# Adjusted long distance repulsion #Minions ignore 50% of the repulsion from buildings and land units.
I thought repulsion was talking about when Rook (for instance) smacks a little grunt and the grunt goes flying through the air. So that will happen only half as often now. But Phukmall your explanation sounds more legitimate lol.
Good question lol. Maybe his english is not good?
I am SO psyched for this. Keep up the good work!
