I like Blade of the Serpent more and more the more I use it. With Rook, while BotS does have a few limitations that Zechnophobe mentioned, it does activate off of his shoulder pieces, and more importantly, it allows you to forgo buying a mana item entirely. Thus, BotS lets you sacrifice some HP in the really early game for a strong early, mid and end game. Even if you only consider the case where you exchange a Vlemish for a Scalemail, that's trading 800 HP & 5 HP/s for ~1300 gold, 600 ar

transitive, you're amazing. You italicized ceteris paribus but you almost never capitalize the start of sentences. Yet you capitalize proper nouns. Aroddo, I think the major thing you are ignoring in your assessment of Bestial Wrath is that it is purely mitigated damage. Thus, a straight comparison with the unmitigated damage of Spit is going to make things look strangely good in favour of Bestial Wrath. Even assuming just 35% reduction, from one decent piece t
Heh, I had no idea I was going to get such an awesome response. It would appear Foreshadowed got trolled. Oh Snap! FYI: A name with "troll" in it does not a true troll make. @ sacul: Sorry to be such poor hosts around here. Really, try what everyone else here has said, and read an updated guide or two on the Demigod that you most enjoy playing to see if you can get any ideas. Oh, and note that currently stacking Health and Armour beats DPS,
And hey, if Rook's archers fire high enough, he can fight in the shade...
I disagree with your taking Narmoth's with a Fire TB, Rob. The life steal is completely wasted on Fire TB, as he probably does the least auto-attacking of any Demigod (except maybe QoT). I'd suggest stacking more armour instead, unless you're facing a troop of enemy TBs. Probably Groffling, it's only a little more expensive than Narmoth's, it's around the same HP and the extra armour and little shield effect should give you a lot more effective HP than the 20 HP/s. If you do get Narmoth, it s
As only Generals can actually use minions, Ixothial, yes.
I'm going to have to play around with TB before I come to a conclusion, but it seems to me that Fire & Ice is just better than Fire Nova or upgraded Permafrost. I'd rush for Biting Chill and Fire & Ice. Your AoE needs should be mostly satisfied by Rain of Ice, and taking Fire Nova is basically just to have another button to hit to do massive damage to things, and for very late game when minions have more than 800 HP. That can be put off until post lvl 15.&n
Durokk, THANK YOU. I had been looking for some hard numbers on minions for a goodly while, and I don't know where you found those (or what Heavy armour means), but I now have Something, which is infinitely better than Nothing. Again, Thank You.
You mention HoL at the end, obviously it's awesome. I would suggest looking into Narmoth's Ring. Fair bit better for UB than Platemail of the Crusader (which is the one above Godplate that I think you were referring to). Health instead of armour, life steal instead of a very low chance of getting heals (does anyone know if you get life steal on Ooze damage?), little bit cheaper, and no wasted minion stats. You might be able to skip Hauberk of Life too, with Narmoth's -
