Na-ah! I drool 10x more than you! I was going to say, release it one day early and give us droolers something to shit our pants over! Now that you got that lovely image in your mind... I sure hope it works on xp x64!

Loved Catalcysm! Was the only expantion where two sides were actually different! HW2 felt very... solid for lack of a better way to describe it. The model collition worked well, animations were extremely smoth and pretty, everything that couldav been cool was cool. The biggest flaw of HW1, Cat, and HW2 is the TERRIBLE multiplayer. Other than the fact that finding games was hard at best, disconnects were a commonality. And Sierra did not patch the

One big diff in this and DOTA is that in DOTA to get to the next game, you leave your current game! Meanwhile next round starts right afterwards where you can fight alongside people who kicked your ass last game. Savage 2 had this same solution, teams must be balanced on public servers so you join the team that has less people, so no group is going to join one side so easily. Groups are broken up, if not in one game, then in the next. It eventually balances out. In WC3

What would be awsome is if generals could create creeps, but more than that they can attach their spawns to assassins (ranged attacking spawns) making that assassin awsomely more powerful, but assassin moves would cause the creeps to start falling off unless the general can keep them fastened (using magic or some funky tricks). Meanwhile the oponents can eliminate the attached creeps from assassins, not to mention that they are immobile and easy to hit (lower hp than normal). </

I think a real-world physical analogy is in order... The T-Mobile G-1 (dream) phone is due to come out on the 22nd. 1.5 million people pre-ordererd one. What does this mean? 1) They will get the phone shipped to them. 2) They are NOT garanteed that the phone will be shipped early, nor are they garanteed that it will be released on the 22nd. They are just garanteed to get the phone before other online orders do. 3) If they d

FYI: World Of Warcraft had the PERFECT anti-stun strategy... Basically druids were rooting people in place none-stop while mages would pound on them. It was literaly unstoppable and unescapable if you were alone (1v2 and you could not even swing once). So what happens is the first time you get the full effect. Second is 1/2, 3rd is 1/4, 4th is no effect. Then after say 20 seconds all "diminishings" were gone and you can be re-stunned or rooted. This is a great way to en

The thing I love about GOOD fighing games is that button mashing does not work. The whole point is VERY quick reactions and strategic planning. The idea is to get your opponent to predict your actions incorrectly. This is very tough if both players are on equal skill levels. You wind up mashing a few buttons but mostly executing well thought out move combinations. In any case if they can make it fun without then by all means do :) The more I read on these forums the mor

Man, I must say I have been drooling over Demigod since I saw the first videos. I am curious, is this an idea based on the warcraft 3 maps... It has been a few years since I've played them but its basically you get two teams, each team chooses heroes, and "creeps" spawn on 3 paths. You kill enemy creeps for money, to upgrade the team or yourself. You essencially push your creeps towards the enemy base and let it burn. You controll only your hero though, the creeps are an AI on pre-determined
