So... The email I used when pre-ordering demigod was the one registered to dlikhten. However my impulse account is astonerbum. I can only log into demigod using dlikhten. astonerbum gives me an invalid login every time. This has been going on since beta 2C and still unresolved. Can it please be looked into already?

To be honest Beta 2D I thought UB was a super-weak demigod. Then I saw some good strats which make him superior to any other DG if played right. Lets wait a few weeks before asking for balancing. Right now devs need to focus on bug fixes.
So last crash report was from running on a friend's vista x64. This one is on xp x64. I cannot run a 1v1 vs AI (I wanted to see what new abilities are present, and so on). When clicking launch game, client freezes.

Well I found it intersting that a 1v1 where the ping between 2 people is 300ms would cause such slowdowns. Shoot I remember playing Starcraft on a 56k with no lag problems, tell me how this game has a higher bandwidth requirement than starcraft 1 (don't confuse cpu/ram/graphics card requirements with network req)? Though I noticed that some games approach lag differently. In demigod the game performs choppy like low frames per second, however other games perform badly b
The forces of darkness seem to have wierd ranking mechanism. I was rank 10 while comps were 9. My ranking in tab window shows me at 10. However when purchasing upgrades the upgrade purchasing mechanism thinks I am rank 9. I've seen this happening a few times already.
battle.net has been doing this since starcraft... Loby means: diff chat rooms, organization rooms for clans, friends list, etc... Granted that most people nowdays use ventrillo or whatever, if the devs decide to finally put a voip client itno the game then this would be very useful.
Currently we in beta mostly sit in the DG IRC all day begging for people to join us. Why should we have to alt-tab and not see what is going on in our room and in chat at same time? Please make a chat program for DG players in-game. Also please make it so we can switch between our room AND the chat program in game with notifications when new messages appear (or player joined your game).
So here is a lag-related rundown of all games I play. I never played a game with someone's ping exceeding 130ms. 40% of games are good (I usually play with the same people, duh not that many to choose from) 40% of games are noticeable lag but can still be enjoyed. 20% of games are completely unplayable due to lag. Yet in all situations all pings are 130ms tops. Is there some way to indicate that the connection if flimsey for two people (lots of p
You can always write in the stats window (and mini version) that unit does 10-15 damage + 40(+40 means from items). Also would be nice if we could actually see the damage done by our minions (maybe different color than DG damage) so we know what they actually do.
When a demigod is doing something (say attacking a tower) if you zoom the camera in on the action which only allows part of the DG to be seen (say only the weapon that is swung) then there are no action sounds (you don't hear combat). It is not tuned down to a lower volume, but completely off. In fact in my situation there was quite a battle going on, but instead all I could hear was the music and the tower firing.
How about the following: If target leaves snipe range, snipe aborts. So teleporting or moving is all good. However if target teleports within snipe range then snipe away.
When I use wand of speed, instead of just working and my demigod continuing on his/her merry way to where I told it to go, the DG instead stops and acts as if it is idle (attacks whoever is near). I would expect an item like wand of speed just gives a burst so if I told the DG to run, it will run and the speed will help (lets say I am chasing a DG to finish it off OR I am being chased, that critical half second could mean the difference between life and death).
I still highly recommend trying out the proxy connectivity methodology. It will increase lag but will definately give the ability to play. Speaking of which. Beta 2C is HORRIBLY riddled with lag. I mean many games are plain ol' unplayable. 2v2 is pushing it, 3v3 is bad, 4v4... I can't imagine it working smooth, I have to say you guys need to do a whole lot better. Sorry to just bluntly say it.
I mean are the salaries sky-high? What is an average salary of such a developer?
wow, do you guys at least get paid for this overtime or is it all off the clock?
The queen of thorns seems to disregard commands and attack whoever she wants. If I instruct her to attack a tower, she might just stand there attacking whatever unit comes in range, or attack the tower. Same problem when telling her to attack other demigods or in fact any target.
I am very curious about this "crunch mode" phenomenon. I fail to understand what it is. Currently my definition is: A time in the life-cycle of software where developers are forced to spend massive overtime in an attempt to fix up the product on time. This is very curious to me, because as a programmer I feel that I always work at my full capacity. Any less would be dishonest and a waste of both my and my employer's time, not to mention that sitting idle at work
I am curious how they did this with suppreme commander. Or was there a service used to connect people together?
The proxy method to solve connection problems... WITHOUT making each connection success rate more reliable (let is assume it cannot get better) Let us assume that any player has a 50% chance to connect to another player every 10 seconds. Obviously 6 players connecting to eachother is hellish still and could result in long wait times. Let us also assume that some players have a 0% chance to connect to another player due to whatever network issues.
Sometimes the attack move will work and melee demigods will stop and attack. Sometimes they will just walk to the designated spot move-attacking as they walk to there. Queen of thorns appears to never stop and attack.
Right now and in Beta 2 I use the mines as grenades. It is a nice bonus that unexploded ones stick around to kill another day. Since currently they are pretty useless when trying to ambush enemies, and they cost so much mana. They are not that great as strategic tools (though they have some uses).
Generals need to have the ability to control minion behaviors. They don't need to be complex: Priests - Stay back and heal Archers - Stay behind the general and attack Minotaur - Act as shield. General's Summon - Act as shield, stay back All units - Prefer Demigods as targets, Prefer grunts as targets. These would be really nice to have since the game is so limiting on how you can control the minions.
The new hotkeys for generals are nice but what would work best is unit groupings. It would really help manage the army as it is still rather difficult now and forces the general to just be one giant army vs flanks and such. Generals can still be focuse fired on by units like regalus and sending minions on enemy DG hunts is rather difficult. The general should have counters of how many summoned units they have and what types all in one place. With the general's army and
Forts seem to have a much more limited range than Beta 2. However they now do damage to ally demigods. To make things worse they sometimes get stuck attacking the same spot ally or enemy. And sometimes actually attack an ally demigod.
