Oh? It's been awhile since I played. PC issues, I can't really game again until I upgrade my comp. I thought Deep Freeze's upgrades only increased damage.
TormakSaber
Yep. UB can hit it with the least trouble, AFAIK.
Deep Freeze is just for interrupting. use it to cancel out teleport scrolls, health potions, etc. alternatively, later in the game (once you've got Deep Freeze 3 or 4) you can actually use it pre-emptively to screw up their cooldowns. seriously. considering using it immediately after an enemy has used a spell to prevent them from being able to cast it on the next cycle. example of this: Sedna casts a Heal on herself. you missed the interrupt on it but thats ok, Deep Freeze her anyway.
There are tower damage and health upgrades in the game, they could do more though. The 1st upgrades are really useful, but after that they taper off.
Mst every citadel ugrade is like this except creeps, due to exponentially rising costs but consistently rising benefits. currency 1, tower health 1, tower damage 1.
Looks like a UB with burst and area control/denial potential instead of massive DoT. Built in criticals, presumably another base 6.3 speed character meaning 3 of the 5 darksiders are 6.3 speed with no fast lightsides (Sedna, I suppose.) and infact a 5.4 movespeed Rook. Can warp Area hit the same target more than once? If so, it becomes incredibly powerful. You're doing damage, you're invincible, it's everything in a nice package. I'm not sure how you'd level it bu
My TB set up is pure fire , staff of renewal favor. Scalemail + Banded to start off. Save for Vlemish and Unbreakable. Then Nimoth Chestplate. Wand of Speed. From there you can optionally look into upgraing Banded to Narmoth's Ring but even before that I basically consider my gearset done. Vlemish and Unbreakable essentially solve all your mana problems. If you're uncomfortable with "squishy", go Blood of the Fallen, and Blade of the Serpent *will* cure any mana problems to the point
Debatably. Bramble Shield takes unmitigated damage, meaning armor doesn't help you. Sedna's heals for less but you get Real HP back meaning it's going to be affected by your armor. Neither is likely to save you if two demigods are competently focus firing you but both are incredibly useful.
Blinknig is legit. Any demigod can use the Warpstone, which does exactly the same thing as the Cloak of Night. Learn to adapt. However do you fight an Erebus, who has the "Real" blink in this game?
You're getting very hostile over what was a neutral comment.
I'll hijack the post for my own apology to the aussie people I was playing with a few nights back! It was the end of a long game and a suddent crack of thunder and alightning bolt and my internet dropped for roughly 8 seconds. Unfortunately that's almost the exact length of time it takes for the game to decide you're dead in the water and disconnect you.
You know, if you were worried about this, you could have simply let your nephew play single player.
I'm vaguely interested in trying this now just to see if it works. =/
Yeah, I've noticed Queen's closed form mini-AoE. Another strike against actually using open form beyond Ground spiking and closing back up, I suppose.
Met the minions --> citadel strategy in a 2v2 Prison game last night. Hadn't really faced it before but had read about it and knew exactly what was up within about a minute. We did exactly what we were supposed to, dropped everything we usually do and maximized our counterplay. We bought our tower regen upgrades ASAP, and my partner had Ooze 2 and Natures Reckoning by level 4, and we still couldn't prevent the minions from killing our base
It's a situational thing. I can very easily see how having pounce 2 over heal 2 could be more beneficial. After all, you don't need to heal if the enemy is dead right?
Interesting. Do any other demigods have damage effect threshholds like that? It's really interesting how none of this is documented...
It's rewarding teamwork. Which is what this game is about, no?
So torchbearer in Fire mode will be able to attack on the move. Delicious!
As it is now, I will probably never buy another Stardock game. Their support for Demigod has been mediocre (Saying the state it was released in, most of the "support" has been them fixing issues)
What other support do you want, if not fixing issues that mke the game more playable? Seriously here...
So you always buy plate Visor instead of Scaled Helm? I mean, it costs more so should be better, and buying the cheaper actually better item would be an exploit, right?
No, it means it's a stupid typo, is clearly a bug, and so I'd rather not rely on it to win games.
To elaborate on a serious noter for Sedna's Yetis, I think there is a crucial role they can fill that migh entice people to take them. As people who play sedna know, AoE is her weak point. Period. If Yetis could provide AoE support, either with cleaving strikes or... literally, tossed snowballs with small AoEs... I think that would help a lot. I still can't figure out how to make Yetis figure into a Sedna build without ditching like.. .Pounce, and really, who wants to lose Pounce?
Interesting read Zech, I'm sure that many premades have been thinking alot about similar things. My 2v2 partner and I are still deciding whether we're going to continue playing DG, but if/when we leave we'll be sure to post a detailed description of how we roll. Quoting TormakSaber, reply 1(Bishops should be on Sedna, if only because some people consider it highly unsporting to use the Sedna priest bug. After the bug is fixed
Remember to have Sedna and Oak with different priest types (Bishops should be on Sedna, if only because some people consider it highly unsporting to use the Sedna priest bug. After the bug is fixed, they'll then be the best heals if she has them anyways.) I would recommend Beast stay with BotF simply for lane staying power early on. Sedna won't always be there to provide heals in a 2v2 and UB will need to be able to tank. +1 for the post and really being the first "Team
what you misunderstand is that the abuse is a wake up call, it tells you "hey we are competitive, learn the game"
No community has the right to abuse new players or old player or *any* players in the name of "competition". It's so ingrained now thta you treat the abuse of players still learning the ropes as to be expected. Par for the course. And that is why DotA has the rep it does and why HoN will have a bad rep among many people (weasel words ahoy!) before its releas
We get it. You've said as much in 4 other topics now.
