this is why the overall skill level of demigods community is so low, you arent expected to know anything in this game.
Surely you can see a difference between your statement and mine. The mindset of the DotA player is that if you do not know everything via 'research', wiki, etc before you even play your first game, then you do not deserve to play alongisde them. They expect you to know the game without playing the game. It's a vicious catch 22. the

HoN is literally DotA 2.0, and the community has already assured that I will never play HoN, and it's only in closed beta. A community that epxects you, from day one, to memorize 60-90 heroes, what they do, recipes, what strategy works for each of those individual heros, and be 100% competent from the getgo while being downright hostile and unhelpful even to their own teammates is not a community I'd like to take part in.
I use BotF on pretty much everyone I play because I can't reconcile taking anything else.

It can matter when you need to pick which one to take first, though.
You bought all those artfacts and didn't even buy ORb of Storm to max you rattack at .5 seconds? :D
No real commentary on the validity for or against the moderator's decisions except that except his loss is a loss to the community as a whole.
Alright, I don't feels so bad for deviating here and there then! Good to see ther'es a little leeway. I'm really enjoying playing Sedna again, and I'm starting to play a little TB, too.
IMO, the problem is that it's hard to see what GPG is doing. Gameplay changing typos that have been in since Beta are still there; as far as the players know, GPG is just plain slow.
This I think is it. On these forums we see Satrdock Stardock Stardock. Of course we do, these are Stardock forums! If GPG could even give a cursory glance at these forums, even just one post here and t
I agree, I was just going for raw HP numbers for his theorycraft.
I would have selected Sedna/UB myself for a 2v2, or Oak/Erebus.
I would like to see a further implementation of the current "Broken Down" stats. A player would have their "Overall Win/Loss" ration which is every game they've ever played, including customs, clan wars, etc. From there win/loss is broken down by category. Skirmish, Custom, Pantheon, 'Team Pantheon' (or whatever it's called.)This way you have an aoverarching record and a broken down record where you need it.
Quoting TormakSaber, reply 6Curiously, what is the "Valor Bug"? After taking your opponent's valor flag and subsequently having them take it back, you lose the bonus from your flag. http://forums.demigodthegame.com/340631
Ewww. So you drop 60%, not 30%. Nasty.
Anybody know if at least 1 spirit must be out for Soul Power to do any bonus damage?
If no souls are out, you get the base Soul Power bonus, afaik. So 20 damage at rank 1, etc.
Cataract? UB + Blood of the Fallen + Banded = 2750 HP, IIRC., at level 1. Health flag on Cataract will push that beyond 3k baarely, and at level 1. Level up a bit and your health goes up, aand you've also got gold. Let's assume Hauberk and Unbreakable. I've had those by level 5 before while playing UB, admittedly I did get a kill, but a tower is still 300 GP. That's another 675 (Hauberk. Not available to look in game atm) and 600 from Unbreakable. That should seal the d
I've fallen back into playing my first love again, Sedna, and with my increased skilsls I found that I'mreally enjoying her. My eternal quandary, though, is that betwene levelling Pounce and Heal frantically to keep pace with battle, you can only level either Healing Wind or Inner Grace, if you intend to max one out, or get rank 2 in early game to make a difference, in Healing Wind's Case. I've been doing: 1: Heal 2: Pounce 3: Healing Wind <
That's probably the pont thematically, though.
You have to wait at the item shop? Banded is 500, and Tele and Health are both 250, right? That's an even 500. Or if you go scaled armor you save 50 gp and could get your observation totem anyways. I've never needed to wait at the item shop to grab my usual banded/tele/health kit as UB.
He appears to be gone for now, so I'd let it go and get back to what matters: Demigod!
To me the funniest bit is the tiny timing difference in his melee strike, betwene when the damage is done and the victim minotaur flies away, and when Erebus' model's mace actually swings down and the "slash" VFX plays.
Minion Erebus seems to be the flavor of the month, much like Spit UB was for awhile and early regulus. I'm not sure what to tell you, honestly. Other than "don't 1v1", I guess.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed adinfinum.
Yeah, I'm a sucker for running my equipment nito the ground because I don't have a lot of disposable income at all, working on college and worknig, paying bills, living alone, etc. I only run at 1072x768.
I didn't say the game was dea,d just noting it wa s aquiet night. Which is probably attributed to being a Friday Night. People are out doing things.
Why does having more grunts to tear through make your AoE less effective? Generally speakin,g the more you hit with your AoE, the more 'damage' you're doing.
I have noticed a sharp drop in game,s yeah, which is unfortunate.
