The problem for me is definetely not on my end, but on the game's. I checked and double checked that I was using the right e-mail address and the right user name and password, and even re-registered the game. The server response is not timing out for me because the message pops up immediately. This is not a problem on my end.

I get points in all the activated abilities except Raise Dead Ward, plus divine justice + last stand. Oak is actually very powerful as an assassin. Penitence is excellent to finish running enemies or just for extra damage.
Can we expect this to be fixed in a patch soon? By the way, for me im sure it isnt the server response timing out because the error screen appears immediately.
Now that you bring that up, I'm disappointed. The game still feels like there's something missing, it's still buggy (can't play multiplayer!!!), and the Demigods are not, as Stardock promised, very customizable. Does anyone know if generals' minions are still worthless?
Let me just say this- Belt of the Giants (or whatever its called, its an artifact) is superb with Divine Justice. It gives your hero's attack an area, meaning you can attack demigods and still end up killing troops, which keeps you healing.
I have the same problem but it has never let me log in. I tried my impulse name and password at least 10 times. The same bug happened during beta. What is wrong with this game's multiplayer?
I think that Generals should be like assassins in that they have a skill tree and such. However, while assassins are powerful and deal damage by using fighting abilities, generals should be powerful by dealing and absorbing damage with their minions, which should be easy to obtain and control. However, instead of having a typical damage-dealing skill tree, the general's skill tree should be based on supporting his troops and teammates while they do damage for him.
I'm not sure if you should be working on releasing even more features when there are still swarms of bugs and the game's performance is pathetic (after finally getting it to work on my good computer, which can play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on high, the game was still stuttery and after five minutes of playing it my computer overheated and crashed.)
Yes. It still doesn't work. I have tried running it from the start menu, Impulse, desktop, and the folder. I uninstalled it and reinstalled twice. Doesn't work! [e digicons]>:([/e]
I have only one sound card and do not have Google Desktop. Same exact problem as everyone else. This needs to be fixed...
Nothing. I tried it once and that popped up, and then I tried it again and nothing happened ("The game doesn't start at all" thread bug). I don't know what happened. It still doesn't work, though.
That happened to me once on my good computer....
I guess my graphics card isn't good enough. This is still surprising though, considering I have had almost no trouble playing other games I have. I have another computer that is almost definetely good enough, but I have a problem on that one where you open the game and nothing happens (cursor hourglass for a second, then it goes away).
I have the same problem. It doesn't work on the only computer I have that is decent enough to play the game without freezing every half second.
I know its bad but the lag I have is completely crazy. I click a place and my demigod doesn't move but the circle around him does (choppy still). Is all the lag like this? Or is my computer just not good enough.
Whenever I play a game, the lag is completely unbearable. Everything is choppy and it goes so slow the game is unplayable. The game will lag for 5 seconds, and suddenly a demigod will die because of the lag. This happens in singleplayer. I turned all the graphic options down to the lowest setting but it still does not work. My computer is very good (can play most recently released games on at least medium). What's wrong?
