I think he's a tad OP as well, but not the point that it breaks the game. What is annoying is making it all the way back to my health crystal only to be sniped and killed from all the way across the map. THAT needs to be nerfed.

Single core CPU = very bad for this engine. It's very CPU dependent. I have a quad core, and I think it uses like 30% of each core. I'd have to double check.

Very impressed with this update Mr. Wardell. I just got in a 2v3 Pantheon game start to finish. The connection took a long time, but the key thing is that it worked. :)

To those who say the review is fair: I would agree with you if this was the fault of the developer or publisher. The only way they could have avoided this is by adding heavy DRM to stop the pirates along with DRM for enforcing the street date. Sure, that would fix the multiplayer, but Stardock would also lose one of the assets that makes them so popular in the PC gaming world: their fight against draconian DRM. It's a lose/lose situation, and it sucks.
I actually agree with this. He needs to be a lot weaker in melee combat.
So Gamestop's royal F-UP even creates problems in lower review scores. Lovely.

Thanks Mr. Wardell. Perhaps you should make it so that whenever someone makes a new thread, they are auto-directed to this one first? Seeing as how people are too lazy to actually search for other topics, yet so quick to make a new thread whining and moaning.
We know, we know, we know, we know. Perhaps next time you could take the time to look through the recent threads. There are PLENTY of threads saying the exact same thing already. Everyone here already knows, Stardock already knows, GPG already knows. And they are working on it, just be patient.

1: You earn favor points by playing games. You obviously get more points based on your performance in that game. 2: No, you can only use 1 favor item per game. 3: You have to be using a General type Demigod and purchase the minion idols to summon them. 4: No, killing regular minions does not earn you gold.
In about 2-4 weeks. They waited this long so that they could focus all of their efforts on making the retail game awesome, and so that they could use final code for the demo instead of just renaming the beta a demo.
This is why they are already working on a demo. Patience, young padawan.
I don't mean to sound too rude, but since when did a single person's opinion represent the entire PC gaming audience? You're basically condemning the game and saying it will fail because it isn't a clone. The same garbage that people have been complaining about since the game was announced.
Should be fixed tomorrow when the master servers are activated. Right now only the beta servers are active, and having to provide service to the beta users, those who bought it early from Gamestop's f-up, and the thousands of pirates are way overloading the beta servers. tl;dr, it will be fixed tomorrow.
