I should have learned my lesson with Dungeon Siege.

I feel for you. And I want to believe you even though you continue to be kind of a smart ass. One thing to consider. You aren't coming off as sounding very sincere. If you wanted to resolve this in a mature manner, you would have PMd a mod and not made this post ... which comes off as you gloating about how your leet haxing skills > the fourm.
Uhm? Your Operating System is more-likely going to be your limiting factor. And it will be addressing your RAM and your VRAM out of the same pool of addresses.
He already has been- confusing the pants off of little nubs all over the forums.
http://www.freeallegiance.org/ Focused totally around multiplayer battles. Each team has a commander that gives orders and builds structures via a RTS-like interface.
I have switched sides since the last patch too, personally. I didn't look into too much, I just originally assumed that they had started the next one. By the time I realized they hadn't, I had already stopped worrying about it.
Yes, Video RAM is subtracted from the total. You see, it's all about adressable memory. It simply doesn't have enough addresses for all of that memory. You have to address RAM on your Video card as well.
Uh. You aren't funny.

After a patch cleared out the entire contents of my friends list, I gave up on it for the time being.
It always clears up for me when I restart the game. I don't know what causes it. I haven't taken the time to figure it out because it doesn't happen for me very often. I have bigger bugs to complain about. I would suggest emailing [email protected] to be sure you get somebody's attention. The first steps are going to be the more obvious stuff. Make sure that you have the latest video drivers available for your card... stuff like that.
Happens to me from time to time too.
Shouldn't affect experience as long as you are near. But my understanding is that you get zero gold. Could someobody who plays Reg more often confirm this?
You have no chance to survive. Make your time.
One day we shall be able to concede properly. /eargerly waiting
Stats will all be reset once they get the kinks worked out. No reason to worry about them at the moment. Everybody knows they are broken.
Give the higher levels of transfer a shot if you haven't already, stacked. At max level, you can eat a citadel in blinding speeds. I have single-handedly walked into the opposing team's base while they were otherwise occupied and brought it down to quarter health before they even react many times. People don't usually think of incremental damage to the cit as being a big deal because it will just regenerate... but if you back that up quickly with a proper push from your whole team, yo

There are just many items that offer a substantially bigger 'bang for the buck' if you will. i.e., I suggest skipping the most e
That made me really sad.

You mean aestetically? Because in terms of layout, it's not really anywhere close except for the size factor.

Compare it to the goggles (They do nothing) or something and you can plainly see that. I still don't think they should be banned... but that wouldnt make me not play in a tournament. It does, however, usually incite me to immediately ragequit custom games when the change is not announced before the game starts. Yeah
