Doesn't change the fact battle.net multiplayer experience was better in 1998 than DG Multiplayer in 2009.
He has a point. And a kick-ass screen name.

Ignorance? I was just trying to help. *slowly shuffles out of the thread* Edit: Oh wait. Maybe you were being sincere. I didn't sleep last night. Comprehension is a bit low right now.
A quick googling tells me that this piece of equipment is indeed your modem as well. If you are sure that you configured your router correctly, the problem could very likely be upstream. It couldn't hurt anything to give your ISP a call and ask if they are blocking the traffic destined to those ports.
What a surprise.
I know, right? It hadn't even occured to me that there were other games in the genre before Demigod. I am so glad that somone has brought this to my attention. Maybe we should all look into this Defenders of the Ancient Ones and see if we can draw any more interesting comparisons. Stardock, I demand that you dispatch a team to investigate immediately!
I have yet to see boulder roll and hammer slam combo be very effective. Is the max stun longer than the hammer cast? I like your guide, and think you bring up some cool ideas. Some of what you state is kinda obvious to an average player, but good for beginners. Itd be fun to play rook this way, tower crawling across a map is the best way to play rook for now though. The graphic included with you guide is howeve
Quoting BigAbboTT, reply 3I would think that they do it because it's all we have as far as 'competitive play' goes. People love ladders. I would be all over it if the stats recorded properly. Random teams aren't competitive. If there was a team automatch mode, that would be competitive. Until then, the only competition in my eyes is pre-made vs pre-made.
The Random Team ladder in warcraft three
Oh I see... because you get favor points even when you lose. Otherwise who cares how many people play a specific demigod. If they aren't winning, they wouldnt be getting points. But yeah. I can see the issue.
I know that Boulder Roll works to stun him during last stand.
I think it is a decent idea. There are a bunch of pros and cons to consider though.
Because many demigods are used more than others there would be a handicap system, multiplying favor points gained at the ned of each round based on how many people are playing that demigod at the time.
I don't understand this part.
Keep on clickin' Not ideal, but it's all we've got at the moment.
Yeah, that's what I am talking about. Not so much what we as players call it... but when you play a custom game, I am pretty darn sure that it is called Fortress mode in-game. And I am pretty sure that's the same in the single player tournament. I was just checking to make sure that it wasn't some fourth gametype that I didn't know about. As it is it's just a confusing inconsistency. Thanks guys!
Oh. I was thinking that Pantheons would function in a similar manner to ladder seasons in other games, spanning large portions of a year.
So... what's the difference between a Fortress match and a Structured Defense match? I guess what I am asking is this-- why do they have two different names for the same game type?
... Does anybody think that this feature makes any sense whatsoever?
Is it possible to stun Oak whilst in Last Stand?
It sure is!
Yeah... The chat is down on my end too.
I think this is too large of an overhaul for normal gameplay, but it would be a very interesting game type that I would love to play.
This! "Headhunter" mode. It's like Slaughter, but fun.
Can you see how boosting the losers is bringing down the winners? It's a binary system. All that matters is the realative strength.
Last time I checked the name of this game was "Demigod", not "all games". The names of skills in other games and their effects are irrelevant, so there is no point in comparing the two.
You missed the snarky subtext.
So i take it there won't be a fix for losing targets after using any ability?
That's the 'Sedna issue' that everybody is talking about if I am not mistaken. It is going to be included in the next patch. Brad has said to expect to see this go live on Tuesday. Edit: Oh wait... losing targets after using a ability. I read too fast. Please ignore me.
