@ZehDon I just want them to fix the bugs. ALL community features are to make the community grow better. It can't happen if the game is so buggy that people will just quit.

I had a whole giant rebuttle to the comments. But really I want to hear from Frogboy what SD will do about all this.
Clans in impulse (comming, yay) An im client through impulse. More than that we need to allow other programs like trillian and pidgin to integrate with these. Create a client in which your impulse account is a chat account, a clan account, a form account (more details later), and a game account all in one. And you don't need (or a lightweight client) impulse to get these benefits. So you can chat with your friends even at work. A VOIP c
1) Favor reset is a non-issue. After 3 hrs I got all the necessary favor points back. However since favor items are not saved (which ones you buy) PLEASE for god's sake make a post when it is turned back on. So at least we can brace ourselves for persistant favor items vs having to buy a new one each game. 2) Some minion bugs fixed, minions no longer ignore orders and demigods no longer ignore orders when selected along with minions. Why was this not mentioned in patch
Erebus has a bug where after a bat swarm he gets movement stuck. He cannot move for about 6 seconds.
Chat text should be a darker color in-game. Also should stay around longer. Usually it is very hard to see when someone types and it dissappears too quickly to read.
In the spirit of ubuntu's one hundred paper cuts project; an attempt to solve simple problems that users experience over the years that go unnoticed and unfixed which can really be fixed in a few minutes of a bit more, I am going to post some demigod papercuts that I really hope will get fixed. Please post your own paper cuts here and hopefully the devs will look at it. The help tooltips dont match up. The ability tree has one set of tips,
1) When changing the username, the password is not cleared from the old account. 2) The password is a regular text field not a password field. But it is masked with stars. Which means I can copy-paste a saved password into a text editor and get the full text. 3) (2) leads me to believe that you store the passwords unencrypted on the file system. Please tell me its encrypted even a bit (thought I would hope its more than just a bit).
Dont implement a rage quitting tracker. Let go of the negativity and see the big picture. Frogboy, as CEO of stardock your goal should be to maximize sales. Well I guarantee you. 100%. That ragequitting tracking WILL result in demands for refund. A month after purchase yes, but you will get those demands and potentially clients who never deal with SD again. When training cats, you can't yell at them. They do something bad... let it go. You train t
Don't punish Rage Quitting. It is complete and utter BS to track this because it leads to nothing but the alienation of newbie players before they can even get to learn the game. Since creating many accounts in DG is difficult (or has to go through support every time to link accounts to serial keys, etc.) new players cant cycle through accounts and rage quitting till they get good. 1) Conceed will eliminate 80% rage quitting. 2) Sometimes people need to go. So fortunately the wont cast bug was almost completely fixed in the last patch but the following still happens: 1) MORE pathing issues. Even in Cataract my demigod gets stuck walking into a wall (not a corner, just the middle of a wall). 2) WTF Stuck Bug: When chasing a demigod (only one attack command given) eventually the demigod stops and appears to be stuck behind a wall. However the demigod is actually in a wide-open walkable area with no obstructions whatsoever. Commands
Make the minimum requirements include an Radeon X800. It has 256 ram but after 10 minutes performance dies my friend reports. He might ask for a refund since its unplayable.
Battle.net... First introduced in Starcraft to the masses. At launch it was awesome. Not to say it didn't have problems, but in STARCRAFT it did some really cool things: 1) Chat rooms for everyone. Just create a new room, chat with friends, have a clan channel, etc. Cool. 2) Double click on someone and vuala, get their stats. Pantheon stats, Regular game stats. Etc. Then Warcraft 3 came out. 3) Icons which upgraded as your rank upgraded. A sort-of show-off of y
So since BETA the bug has been that often right after an action, casting a spell simply does not work. Instead of casting the demigod is stuck until a right-click command is issued. This happens VERY frequently and often screws up the game when instead of healing/saving a partner, you stand there and the partner dies, or instead of finishing off a demigod you stand there and he escapes. Since this is such a major gameplay killer and has been around since beta... I am as
Basically you are losing. You just want to end the game. You know that the game can last another 15-20 minutes but you know you are done for. Give us the ability to concede. Look at starcraft (old) eventually its GG and done. One wins one loses. In DG gg = I quit, 30 second disconnect screen, the other guy still has to freaken' win for 15 minutes, hes not having fun, can't just quit, and now you are just "a quiter"
Xbox 360 is really for single player games. Mplayer costs money. Not to mention that my xbox has no internet connection. So in the end if they make DG for xbox then i doubt people will buy it. And it will have to ship at $60 / game + online fees. Not to mention the peripheral problems.
bleh i cant get DG on that tool... how do you register it?
Multiple questions: 1) Has anyone set up demigod successfully on linux? And is able to play online? 2) will SD ever make an effort to make a wine or cedega or whatever-based port of DG to linux? Or is SD's policy to never deal with linux EVER!?

The main problem with pre-release sellings is the fast that DG is not "ready" to be played before release date. While the client is final (with a 0-day patch) the server is not. This means a few things: 1) Loss of pre-orders. 2) Buyers thinking that the quality of the game is much lower than the real quality of the game. Since SD prides on quality of their products, a pre-release can have those drooling gamers get a sub-standard quality product until the real day 1.</p
