So far it hasn't been enough. I crossed up to about 54% yesterday, but with barely 30 games, I still get booted. I just wish I didn't hate playing with completely new people more than I love killing them. :P

I bought Demigod about 2 weeks after it came out, which was around May, I believe. Over the next three months, I got really into it, typically racking up 5-7 games a day. I've pugged, been on premades, killed premades, lost to stupid shit, lived and learned plenty in this game. Around the end of July/early August, as the stat behavior was being tweaked, there was a stat reset. I played on and off after that, but real life was getting in the way and I ultimately focused on other things. <

Erebus + UB. Once Erebus gets charm and UB gets foul grasp, they will kill any lone demigod without any chance of him escaping. Actually, this is a huge problem I have with UB. Foul Grasp is kinda OP because it breaks a major mechanic: stun immune. You can charm/boulder roll somebody immediately after they have been FG'ed because FG doesn't count as a stun, though it clearly is. Oh well, I guess UB doesn't have any other team synergy if not for this, so whatever.

Name: Archion Type: Assassin Theme: Melee user, emphasis on debuffs and draining (bear with me on this), avoiding damage Allignment: Evil Description(needs elaboration): Archion once served in the armies of hell as an officer, leading the legions undead and demons in the name of evil. Moves quickly and uses a sword forged from hell (bleh, so trite, lol). Emphasizes on avoiding attacks and using his opponents' presence to his advantage. <span style="text

In some situations, yes, this seems unfair. But in the situations where the kill could not have been gotten without the actions of the Regulus or the Erebus (or anyone else that only got the last hit in), they deserve credit for that kill. Be happy that this game incorporates assists with rewards; many games do not.

Not to mention we were kind of spoiled, in a sense, with the amount of correspondence we were getting from Stardock. This is not to say that they're going to stop talking to us, but for the first month of the game's existence, there was a lot of chaos, and a lot of people needed reassurances and updates. Now, with the period relatively behind us, there's going to be a bit more of a decrease in frequency...I doubt it's anything to worry about.

Q: What citadel upgrades are worth it? A; In general, the first rank of nearly every upgrade, with the exception of death penalty, is worth it. You want to prioritize having tower health 1 (lets towers regenerate), tower strength 1 (gives towers splash damage), and currency 1 (not necessarily in this order, you have to feel out how the match is going). You want these as soon as you can, but don't completely forgo upgrading your own gear for these...try to strike a balance and communic

I also find that most people that call no doubles are complaining exceessively. However, there are certain aspects of doubles that make it impossible to go with your team's demigod setup and hope to win. For this reason, I think a lot of people are aggrivated by these setups, but a lot of it has to do with a really bad encounter that they once had dominating their perception on how the match will go. For example, I've encountered several double Reg opponents while playing as Reg mysel

[quote who="Kasapinas" reply="12" id="2257663"]Since you use spirits, I might suggest you use them to harass him. They evade mines if I am not mistaken, and also are pretty much damage at later levels. This way, you'll keep him busy - winning time to farm creeps for more spirits, cap flags or join the fray. I also play a spirit build with 1 point in soul power and a good level of penitence + divine justice and SoF(generally missing shield, lolz) and tend to stay away from the enemy DG when we

At the risk of inducing several "gasps" among the DG community, I don't use the HoL + Shield trick 90% of my games. I don't because 1) My build has me on lvl 1 shield so I can use soul power + spirits for massive weapon damage and 2) I prefer to buy better gear/cit upgrades over HoL, or even coast into getting a mage slayer. I can't argue with its effectiveness in this matchup, though, so I'll keep an open mind when I see this type of Reg build. Also, while I agree that BotF might not

I'm an avid Oak player, and typically consider myself to have a very effective build. As such, I rarely encounter something I can't 1v1 if I'm in top condition. This includes most Regulus builds, except for one... The Reg build I'm talking about is a slow-centric build. I can usually attack this build fine (i.e. he doesn't see me coming or is focusing on someone else), but when the Reg comes after me, I'm forced to run away. This Reg build has maxed mines and MotB and usually several

I personally almost never take HoL as Oak, but my reasons are largely due to my playstyle, and I'm sure some people justify needing to have it. Here's why I don't... 1.) I love, love, love priest minions. They up my survivability a ton and also my longevity on the field. However, consistantly using them with HoL is a pain, since their heal interrupts it. I value the priests more than HoL most of the time, so they usually keep me from getting it. 2.)Early to mid game, I have no

Yay, Frogboy used my idea! Question, though. You said, "Players with a high Disconnect % will likely get booted in lobbies...". However, does this imply that you are going to impliment a method of seeing that percentage in the lobby room? Or are we expected to look everyone up on the stats page. If it's the former, I refer you to the thread I linked to above. :D

I know we have a request similar to this noted in the OP, but I want to put out an idea that I had posted some time ago. This would be an addition of an in-lobby player stat display, which would basically funciton as a simplified version of the current stats page but with some more relevant notes. Please read the thread here. In this thread, I also make note of an anti-rage quit measure, which I would like to highlight here specifically.

Wow. Just had an AMAZING game, and it has a nice strat to it that I've never seen used correctly that I wanted to share. Props go out to SaulTiger (I think that was his name, might've had numbers in there). The game was Oak (me), Sedna (Saul), and TB (dami, not his full name) vs Rook, UB, and Reg on Cataract. Rook went tower spammy with a point in boulder roll and hammer smash, Reg was initially heavy snipe, then heavy mines, UB was spit-based. I took an assassin Oak build (no minions

What I am proposing is having an in-lobby player statistics screen that can be viewed by everyone without having to, say, look up each player on Demigod's stat page. This system would be based largely on the one present in the first Dawn of War series (and is likely seen in other RTS's, too). Those of you familiar with that game already have an idea of what I'm talking about; for the rest of you, read on. What this system would do is put an additional information button next to a play

Now, this is based entirely off of the statistics page. Also, if there's been a thread on this, please let me know and I'll have this locked. Basically, it seems like every time the host gets disconnected from the game, I lose. Let me give a few examples. Once, I was playing a game in which, after a few minutes, someone got DC'ed or rage quitted. Eventually, this lead to everyone but three of us (one on the other team and one on my team, plus myself) being in the game. Then th

Mine were stuck at 150 and weren't going up. After buying the charm of life (125 favor), I am also sitting at 25. Interestingly, though, my account page shows my favor points accumulating, but I can't ever see this happening in game.

No that's exactly what happened to me. No error messages. I initially thought something had popped up (McAffee gives me trouble sometimes) and I had clicked on it in-game and it pulled me to the desktop, but there was nothing, and the game closed on its own.

No warning, no error message, no "Sorry, but Demigod suffered an expected error and had to close," stuff from Windows. Game was running smoothly, no lag, nothing. Does Demigod take a crash log an put it somewhere? Otherwise, I'm baffled at this...was a really great game, too.
