Quoting chaos40, reply 7 I agree. This bug has been hanging around for a long time.... sigh. Please define a long time. The game was released a few days ago .
As wonderful and witty as that was, there was a beta where the same thing happened and had been reported. Anyway, I would love to see this fixed too. BUMPINATED? Indeed it has been.

Bump because I think this needs attention. (why else i suppose? xD )

Gnats, you are correct. Every single game starts you at level 1 with nothing, and you must level up each time from the bottom, which is why i said DoW2 was different >> those comparing it probably served to confuse him.

I have to inform you, this is not a true RTS. If you have ever played DotA, HoSK, AoS, or any similar warcraft 3 map, that is the closest game to this. It's more oriented with one hero-type unit, and multiple people per team, so, for example, 3 people each with a hero fight three other people each with a hero. Anyway, it's more action-oriented and yes there is strategy to it, just not in the vein you're thinking by mentioning DOW2.

All right, two things. First thing being... You don't have to agree with Frogboy or anyone else writing anything on posts, but can't you at least be respectful and just discuss your disagreement? Throwing disrespect and all caps words into their faces just pisses them off. Hell, it pisses me off for them as well. Secondly, I also think more gold would not necessarily help a minion problem, it would help an assassin-gear-buying spec. In my opinion the only real thing to do is a

Personally I can't see the AI ever reaching the innate ability to strategize what to do like any good player can. Many of the skilled players (so far) in Demigod would agree with me; AI is bad, and it's probably not going to become a true threat to anyone short of a miracle occurring.
The best solution is obvious - give auras only to genegars, and make it powerful auras ( ie. non-ridiculus ). Specific ideas for auras are also obvious : Increase HP / damage ( increase more damage than HP, since minions under aura should be dangerous but still killable, though not by a single Fire Nova )
Noting, fire nova and other moves that knock small grunts into the air will kill the grunts wh

I see what you're saying. But don't compare it to hammer slam... you can't avoid it if you get boulder rolled in melee, which melee heroes would find themselves being in melee with him often :3 I can see how the debuff ending damage thing might help, but that would force Frost TB to stick around and wait for 7 seconds while perhaps getting beat down by assisting demigods. I guess I mean to say, Frost TB won't be alone with a hero long enough in a decent game to not be at risk of being

If you're TB against regulus, sometimes Regulus will get cocky and try to lay mines and snare you. Rain of ice as he approaches, and when he's laying mines, don't attack. you just keep charging him, and then use frost nova. Afterward, of course, use deep freeze on him, and by that point he's going to die very soon, or you've killed him. Remember though, pick TB items well, or he won't be very good. (That means, keep your mana regen/mana pool very well stocked) Edit: If he's not laying

I play frost TB almost always in Demigod. My opinion is to reduce by maybe 15% the damage shatter does. More than that does take away most of the damaging ability of Frostmode and makes him gimp as I don't even know O.o Trust me, you do not want to take the damage away, just lessen it. Edit: Sorry that this sounded like I didn't read, but you are asking for a lot of stuff to be done when a scaling of damage could be the fix it needs.
Why not just have stuns and freezes be less effective than have an item that practically everyone would end up needing to buy? That's like making the game where you start the match on fire, and the only way to stop it is to buy the "anti-lighten-on-fire armor" from the shop with your starting gold. Stuns aren't too bad now though. Only one I think is maybe too long now is the frost nova. 2 sec and doing

I dunno, the AI still gets stomped by me every single game... it's easy to bait into a trap as frost TB, and it almost always works. Not that I hate AIs, I just wish they'd maybe even cheat to be more formidable.

I like flags too, I'd just set flag capture time to a longer duration if you don't like the back and forth swapping. Also, noobs shouldn't GET the flags, as they don't deserve them now do they?

I almost always play as a frost TB, but I tried fire for once, and it was nice, don't get me wrong here... I did notice, though, that when moving, Fire TB tends to get stuck when chasing targets, and will not attack while moving, as Frost TB does (not stick and will attack). Anyway, I would love to play Fire TB more if there wasn't something odd about his movement when in Fire mode.

I recommend some sort of creepwave benefits, or some sort of passive army/fortification buffs to make them a valuable asset in defense if not offense as well. I haven't thought this through fully with advantages and disadvantages yet, but consider it, criticize it, etc. you know the drill.

Definitely, regarding Wyrmskin Gauntlets. And btw, when i said later game i didn't mean endgame where people do 300+ damage a swing. I mean mid-game I suppose. ^^b Also noting: About the angels, they have a bit over 750 hp if i remember right? So they wouldn't be killed, but it's a nice bonus.

Not to rain on UB's parade, or regulus', but when you can just attack a player and reduce him or her to 15% or so movement speed, especially someone like TB, there's just no way out of that. I guess I'm recommending either nerfing that MS slow favor item, or doing something about the snares on the wyrm gloves or skills. Just a thought, not saying YOU MUST DO IT!!! Thoughts, opinions, etc? (Note, this ms reduction isn't expensive, either. That could be a solution.)

0 Replies 700 Views

They do nothing but snare people O.o I can't tell you how many times i've been snared to about 10% ms from multiple snares, two coming from regulus, one from those gloves.

The Nature's Reckoning in my opinion is quite good... I don't know how many times i've seen it chain proc during a fight when I'm TB. I recommend a nerf of the proc damage to 200 myself. It's also aoe, so anyone nearby gets this shock, effectively destroying most creep waves in seconds later game.

I was in the middle of a game, doing nothing in particular except moving, and all of a sudden the client exits out completely, leaving me back at my desktop/impulse. No errors, no anything. Anyone know what happened? If I'm the only one with this problem? Etc, post whatever you deem necessary.
