As far as I can tell alot of the problems from generals is the fact that their minions are too weak and a minion build of a general is inferior to one that plays like an assassin. I think theres a few simple ways to solve this. 1: Change generals skills so that they affect their minions. Each general should have at least 2 minion specific skills.Maybe something so simple as some kind of "frenzy" ability where all the minions hit harder or something.

Trying to make a Rival for an existing demigod could result in two very similar Demigods. Ya know just like Every game EVER made balance is gonna be off for a while. You can't expect perfect balance right out the door. But it will certainly get better.

Thats a very good idea. I'd be willing to bet stardock is very aware of this problem and something like this shall be implemented on the day 0 patch. Frogboy seemed pretty confident in the beta tester review thread that while balance is pretty off right now it will be quite good on day 0.

Well comparing with the specs for Demigod on impulse, It looks like your Graphics card is good for recomended settings, as is your RAM, but your processor is just a little short (2.4 ghz is the minimum). However That wont stop you from playing the game, just dont expect to run it on high settings.

I cant find any demos on impulse, which is odd because lots of the games there have demos, such as sins, but I cant download them from impulse. I think this is something Stardock should implement, especially if they want to compete with steam. Just my 2 cents.

You still get the mycolors desktop design thing if you preorder digital download afaik.

The reason its so blurry and what not is because the image is so detailed (It's the one of the rook from the mythology section if you can't tell), Good favicons are always very simplistic little images with only 2 or 3 colors in them. But I dont know what would fit the simple 2-3 color fit that relates to demigod. If anybody has an idea tell me and I will make one.

Uh Pako......LoL isn't free. Dota May be (though you still have to buy warcraft first), but LoL will be a "real" game, designed to turn a profit and all that.

There will be a demo after release, thought when is unknown. They aren't gonna open the beta or anything its pretty much over at this point they're doing private (Company only) Gamma testing now.

No, The ones you have to worry about for that are Games for Windows LIVE . You'll be fine for just games for windows that just means you can play it on windows ha.
