I wouldn't count on playing on most American games, as most won't even play with people from the opposite coast (and we are talking about a difference of 25-50 ping).

Same here, this wasn't a problem over a week or so ago, but now I am finding myself crashing in the middle of some games. Sometimes I get a log, but recently I don't even get that; I just get a message saying that an error occured and Demigod is being closed.
Great post by Infinite; I agree 100% with his response, as I think it's the most proper way to handle DG death.
I agree with the other posters, and also think he got +damage favor plus +25 gauntlets and was banking on out dpsing you at the beginning. Sedna can put pressue on people in the beginning with Pounce, but most people will choose Heal at level 1, and then Pounce at 2 (I assume you were level 1 with Heal when you met him at flag). Chances are he had Bite at level 1, and was just able to force you away from the flag because you couldn't do enough dps without Pounce and were drained o
This may be technically demanding, but why not have the option for players to place themselves in a queue to join a game that has uneven odds. For example, a game starts and team A and B both have 3 players, but A loses one player due to disconnect. The game then searches the queue for a player to connect to the game with a ping not exceeding a certain ping threshold. The character joins the game at the average level of all players rounded up, is given a certain amount of go

An option to quit the game on the desync window would be convenient, considering everyone will ultimately quit when the message appears.
Great post! I mostly play generals, and I strongly support your suggested changes for the minions. Giving orders to only minions is a huge pain in the current state of the game as it leaves you without control of your character, and should you need to regain control, your commands then assign your minions to follow you. It's gotten to the point where minions are simply tower distractions and mine sniffers, and not really the support that they were intended to be. Given
I'm also a big fan of Oak, and, for the most part, have found the guide to be very helpful. I would agree that Penitence is a great first skill because it increases all damage taken by target (especially nice if you can lure the demigods to the towers), and it has a decent movement speed debuff which stack well with the glove speed debuff. I would rate Penitence as the second most important skill Oak has. I would rate Shield as the most important skill.
