Eh, just to make sure I wasn't going senile, I did gromp/blue/red with kayle(yeah, I said kayle), finished at 3:30 with a 1/12/17 mastery page and scaling resist/armor/damage/lifesteal runes.
It's possible that the Spellvamp/Lifesteal is back to being really good in the Jungle. i know back in Season 2/3 it was pretty popular to take those mastery points and SV quints were occassionally useful. i hadn't considered them just because they'

You can't do Gromp > Blue > Red without a leash (you need to the 200 health heal on Red Smite). i said that in my own post. The purpose of my route was NOT to find the optimal route. It was specifically to find a very DIFFICULT route that i could test very quickly (
Alright, now for the jungle. My position is sort of odd. On one hand, i have hated playing jungle ever since Season 3. But, i actually really enjoy starting a custom game and plutzing around with weird rune setups. i also really like reading about jungle theorycrafting stuff. So what i might say could be totally incorrect - in practice. But i do think my theory isn't completely off-base. For the past 4 years, AS marks have always been the best way to increase clear speeds. Thi
So with all this in mind, let's talk about what i'm doing with my runes/masteries for LANERS: == Reds == For ADCs, i still think that you're going to want to go flat AD reds. Most Trinity-ADs tend to have a lot of mixed damage, so they don't gain as much from Armor Pen, and the extra AD is always going to be important for last-hitting and pushing towers in midgame. However, i think that flat ArPen reds are going to be much better for to
Going to split this post up into multiple parts because it is going to be really long... Anyway, this is sort of theorycrafting runes/masteries/items, etc for the new Season. Note that i'm not going to really factor in "cheesy" stuff that is most probably going to be nerfed very quickly (eg, Smite top lane, or 5x MP5 Chalice). If you're playing ranked, it's worth it to think about that kind of stuff and figure it out. If you're not... it's sort of a waste of me
Wait are you saying that she had a completed QSS by 7 minutes (before pacov hit 6). Now that is fed! Remember that QSS also cleanses DoTs so if Peter had ER'd then he literally would basically be a support in terms of damage. Anyway, Pacov, you probably only would have had, what, a Spirit Stone? Red buff helps but it's not "that" huge damage...
Pretty much everyone here is plat... The nature of the game causes people with very poor mechanics (primarily CS'ing, smiting, animation canceling, dodging skill shots), allows them to very quickly climb (with very good stats) up until where the Macro game becomes a lot more important (primary diamond, but starting in plat). This is what i meant with:
In fact, i would say that part of the reason we "don't" see a lot of scripters is simple because
The bottom line is that it isn't hard to detect somebody who is consistently doing something faster than is humanly possible if you put effort into it.
That's sort of an undecidable problem for Turing machines. Which means that you have to design a bunch of heuristics that check for known-behavior. Which ends up becoming an Arms Race. On one side, you have the scripters who are coming up with newer, subtler ways of doing (such as includ
Oh i actually took a look at the data. It's looks like it is an extremely sparse dataset that isn't anywhere close to exhaustive. It also stop collecting data on January 2014, so it's not going to catch any of the current scripters.
... I'd just chalk it up as either smurf god skills or on a roll.
This is my overall sentiment as well. There are some stuff that only bots can do though (eg, perfect animation canceling with Cass Q, infinite Cass/Graves passive). Even then i don't think i'd "report". i'm pretty sure that the "wait time" is amortized. Challenger players will always have their "calculated wait time" as 1:30 or whatever but that is almost never the case. Also, this is mostly @Thunder but if any one else has the LogitechLED crashes... Rather than deleting the stupid .dll every single patch, apparently if you change C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config and add/change the line: [General] Logit
It's far worse than that actually. About a year ago, i was playing with my partner (who is Teemo-top-only in SR. We generally only play dominion bots). When we first played SR, i played on a level 5 smurf, and that was fine... However, once they were higher leveled (low 20s or so), we tried playing some SR again. i played on my main, at the time. It was madness. Diamonds everywhere. One of the most silly games, we had a triple-queue Diamond I amumu Korean smurf along
#Skarner: i mean we might have a difference of opinion but... Way back in Season 1, early Season 2 i played Skarner a ton (at least 100 games, nearly as much as Anivia). The only reason i stopped was because of a personal fight with a friend; not because of the nerfs. When the rework happened, i was pretty excited, and honestly it is a lot better when you're playing him. Before he was a one-button champion, with a long ramp-up. His newer kit has a lot more interaction with abiliti
Skarner was pretty OP for about 2 weeks after the rework, then they demolished his numbers again. But the rework was a success in that he's a lot more fun than he used to be, that is for sure, and his kit is enjoyable.
If you take away the one thing that junglers get, you have to give them something HUGE in return.
He who creates isn't necessarily that great at playing. I know exactly who he is, but the only time I see junglers run games is when fools don't ward or a plat+ is smurfing the bronzies.
Yeah, he's actually only a Silver level player. But when it's, you know, his job, and has access to hundreds of competitive-level games a year, i doubt he is balancing off of his own player experiences. He is almost certainly using a mixture of sk
I wouldn't say they run games though, he probably doesn't understand map awareness and warding...
That quote was from Morello. The Lead Game Designer who has been around from day 1. You don't have to agree with him on everything, but he probably has a firm understanding of the concepts of map awareness and warding.
To put it bluntly, Morello has never had a clue when it comes to jungling, which is why its always bee
Only in Teambuilder and Intro Bots. Still exciting though!
Since Riot removed clamping it is much easier to climb (up until Diamond V) due to the nature of win streaks and how they affect promotions versus the natures of lose streaks and how being demoted works. Win streaks generally "overpower" lose streaks, since it requires multiple consecutive losses when you are already at 0 LP in order to demote. Sure, it does take going 3-1 in the short term to actually promote, but you can also occasionally skip ranked tiers, and when you fail a promo
you can still have a dumb support, and the enemy can have a good ADC if you're top lane... it's not as if the other lanes magically cease to exist. And junglers matter a lot more for toplane than botlane, and you absolutely can lose lane due to a bad jungler who feeds double buffs level 3. For a bad support/good ADC, the "burden" on you is just shifted from laning phase and into teamfights. If you have a bad support versus a great ADC, and you're playing botlane, your res
yeah. If you want to practice, Viktor's E is the exact same way and has a much shorter cooldown, so you can do that in a bot game.
Don't forget to play the occasional ranked game to prevent the demotion!
i know you had a shitty day, pacov, and there's no doubt going to be a post so i'm gonna preface it here: i wasn't really trying to "run my mouth" and trash talk you there at that last game while you were stepping away. i know that you had had a few shitty games, and you had said the game before that you even wanted to "relax" in a Solo Lane. And that game wasn't particularily relaxing for you. With the picks, you were really worried about leaving both Lucian/Tristana
i think you misunderstand the purpose of this thread
No, everyone gets the buff. Thanks for getting the numbers, i was trying to find them but couldnt... Anyway, the first one is kind of nice in laning phase (it's a health pot and a 1.5 mana pots every base assuming you base ~3 minutes), but with how popular manaless champs are... But since the new regen items are % multipliers now, if you're buying a Chalice or a Spirit Stone that can actually be decent. But like i said, mostly only good on mages mid and mana hungry jun
