Then it matters in cases where people die. So you're saying digital theft is just like murder?
Wow...that one went whizzing right over your head lol. Intent matters in all criminal cases, I just used murder as an example.
It doesn't matter that they are obviously marketed to copyright violators if the end result is the same.
Actually, that matters a lot. Intent is one of the principles of criminal law...that's why there is a distinction between Murder I, Murder II, and Manslaughter.
I like the german copy protections... In Settlers II even the cracked version played normally, but after some time, every building started to produce sheep instead of timber, gold, pigs, etc. In Drakensang, even though cracked, important Quest NPCs went missing. You noticed after hours of playing, when you realize you are stuck. Imagine the fun in the forums where "honest buyers" log in
While I completely agree with what you said, your request will almost certainly fall on deaf ears.

I hope that case set some precedences...I would love to see publishers/developers start laying lawsuits on those morally bankrupt asses and their theiving visitors.
What a sad thing to see...I can't believe what I am reading in this thread.
"what pisses me off is the sheer signs of utmost disrespect I'm getting from pirated players who feel like they're entitled to something for nothing." No way! Theives being disrespectful? You dont say!

Dungeon Keeper? These are the same guys who did Dungeon Keeper? I thought Bullfrog did DK...or are some of the people at GPG from Bullfrog?
I agree. Past a certain point, the result of the match is set. Often, it can be very early. It's not really fun knowing that there's really no risk in attempting to kill somebody, because he and his teammates can't possibly hope to kill anyone in your team right now. They have too little health/armor/damage, you have too much. I'm not really sure there's a way to offset this, other than to provide an "OH SHIT" button on a long cooldown

For it to remain good like that, simply never play Dota Good luck mate.
Na, even if another game is "better", that doesn't change the fact that this game is good. If DotA is steak and this game is just burgers...whatever...I still like to eat me some burgers lol.
Just wanted to drop in and thank the developers for making a very cool game. Just purchased it last night and proceded to play for like 3 hours straight. I am a new player in this genre and have never played DotA...I mostly play ARPG's (like Diablo, TQ) so the "rpg" aspects are really what drew me in. I think the job you guys did with the skill trees is awesome...better then some actual ARPG's have done in my opinion. The maps and look beautiful and while the g
