I didn't actually post this as some sort of error report. This occured when demigod.exe crashed and didn't flip the frame buffer causing this to occur.

This occured while I was hosting a game just as player 8/8 joined the lobby. 7 greens... last guy joins and...

Demigod is like a game of tug-a-war. Except the rope is 3 miles long and the pit of mud in the middle is almost as long as the rope. When losing at demigod it feels like you are being dragged through the mud for miles and none of that is really fun. Chances for comebacks seem to be limited and perhaps need to be addressed to fix people quiting the moment they start to lose.
/localproxy (if you have a monster machine with a really really good network connection you can let people who can’t connect route through you which lowers lag – only do this if you have a very fast UP speed).
This sounds like a great option! I know plently of people who have enough upstream for this to be a very useful option.

I hope everyone here is happy. Due to all this bitching an moaning they aggressively nerfed erebus into an almost useless state, so enjoy chosing from 7 demigods instead of 8. While I agree with increasing the mana cost of bite I DO NOT agree with the other nerfs. If you looked at the most played on pantheon, erebus was 5th fucking place. If you looked at the most succesfully demigods in pantheon statistics erebus was no where NEAR the top. I never even played erebus that much

While the initial connectivity seems a bit better for most players, it is even worse for others. This affects us all because we need everyone working to make games work seemlessly. Last night I had a friend on my LAN and we found it very difficult to get into games together. Once in the game it seems to be crashing more than ever. People are getting randomly disconnected and there is also random massive lag spikes. There was also a NEW error we had never seen before and that i

An 'incentive' approach to having people stick it out and go down heroicly may be better. For the most part I stick even the worst losing games, but there are times where you are getting rolled so bad there is simply no fun to be had. Perhaps we could look at that?
Quoting PunningPundit, reply 16 even while it's been "broken" they've got it working for+90% of the people who are using it. So the chances of getting a 3v3 going are .9^6 = 53%. That actually seems to match my experience. I haven't tried the new patch yet, but I have high hopes! Each time I read a journal entry I get the expectation that it is finally all working. . . then I read the comments. [/quote

Hopefully Frogboy will soon be able to replace his carrot on a stick with a working game :P Is there any word on improving people who play from the same LAN online? I have a buddy sitting next to me and going online it seems we have a hard time connecting to each other (and others) when we try to play together. Seperately everything seems to work great.

I think that would be more helpful e.g if im fighting off the 2 DG on the right side of the map getting the bot to take the flags on the left would be incredibly helpful as supose to it siting and fighting creeps in the middle.
Who on your team would get to control the bot? But I agree with OP that bots need to be removed from online play unless intentionaly put there. M
If you sell an Idol, any minions summoned from it should be un-summoned. Fixed, no longer an exploit.
I think that is a bit harsh. The primary reason to even get minions at all is because you summon sell back and buy an item instead of walking around with an overpriced idol with a lengthy cooldown. A better solution would be for the game to simply ban having more than 2 minions of the same type. This

I also had this happen to me and and a friend of mine last night in the beta version. It seems to be a by-product to their new NAT setup.

I've played the new beta a lot this last weekend including a 5v5! so I will note my observations about existing bugs etc... 1.) Connection issues still are quite abundant. Getting into the lobby is as easy as connecting to the host, so this is an improvement. However once in the lobby things are still pretty much the same. The biggest problem I see is that when people all connect at the same time to a lobby nobody can connect to each other and it never works. I also noticed b

I know you guys won't believe me, but seriously, we made that shit work. And it was awesome. Well for the first 9 levels... then 2 people on their side raged quit and we rolled them from there. The host I joined had a system for setting up the 5v5 that I feel I should share with the rest of you. Very simply he basically closed most of the slots and slowly opened them up one by one to let people join one at a time, waiting till everyone was connected before opening another slot.
