Um, no response from any admins? Great... A topic to make us feel relieved, but in actual fact, they aren't really caring.

Count me in =.=. I want to try multiplayer for the FIRST TIME.
Okay, lets hope they sort this out. Having no Demigod forums is frustrating for a start.
Same here. Posted on numerous threads but the replies never registers. Any help? Kinda frustrating considering I am still having networking issues and would like to communicate with the other forum members.
Hey dude, same same problem. Many others suffer from this problem too. Lets wait and see Stardock's response.

Make a Demigod shortcut on your desktop, or find the demigod.exe in your demigod folder (will be under the bin folder), then right click it, go to properties. Under target, fill in /serverproxyonly with a space after the path of your demigod. Like so. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe" /serverproxyonly Fill /serverproxyonly with a space before it. My Program Files is (x86) probably because I use Vista64bit. Other than that, just type in /serverprox

Googling didn't help too much, and it doesnt seem to be in the product info.[/quote] I suggest waiting for 1.01 to come out first. Picking a modem would be tricky. If only the modems come with 'Demigod capable' or 'Certified for Demigod' stickers, just like Windows Vista/7. Would be SO epic!
This very much seems like a faulty port. You are able to connect to others because their ports are generously opened nice and wide, however they can't connect to us because your ports are stingy, or in simpler less sacarstic terms, we didn't configure our ports properly. Bottom line: we didn't portforward correctly. Seems likely so, because the portchecks I've taken claim my ports are still closed even after portforwarding for COUNTLESS of times. Lets hope 1.01 will show some

I'm complaining because I can't even get into a multiplayer game. YOU guys who can play multiplayer are the ones that should stop complaining. Spare me a though, I've NEVER got into EVEN ONE MP game AT ALL after purchasing Demigod for half a month. Stop being asstards, people.

The proxy servers don't work for me, sadly. I am still unable to connect to multiplayer games. Sadly for me, I've NEVER yet connected to ANY single multiplayer game after purchasing Demigod for a month or so... I've really hit a wall on Demigod and am just going to quit it altogether since refund is impossible here. If, after portforwarding, and the game doesn't work, spending another 48hours playing with your router or modem would really not help as the fault lies with GPG/Stardock and their AWESOME P2P connectivity in an attempt to reduce delay to minimal. Yeah great, I'm having 0 delay. DOI, I'm not able to PLAY. AT ALL. Kudos Stardoooooock. And GPG. For being so ambitious in trying P2P when it phails, SO BAD.

I prefer patches that come in small-sizes, but of course, the patches so far is very good to see as Stardock is working on Demigod frequently, but fact is I am still unable to connect. LOL much.
I've purchased Demigod for a week over and its quite frustrating to say that I've NEVER EVER been able to connect to ANY SINGLE online multiplayer game. Not the Internet, not LAN. I've never entered an online game lobby before. Its really really sad. I guess I'm going to leave Demigod for another week and if nothing changes, I will just treat it as money well spent to learn to never ever buy anything from Stardock ever again.
