sad, but true
[quote who="BigAbboTT" reply="17" id="2213351"]In custom games, people can fight back by not letting you play in their lobbies. In Pantheon games, however, you are totally screwing over your teamates with impunity. To me, the solution is the implementation of Arranged Team pantheon games. Once those come about, people will play RT at their own risk. The way it is now, everybody who is jonesing for competitive play simply has
[quote quoting="post"] One last note for any detractors: I don't care if you want to "pwn bitches" with your serpents blade at level one, when it's someone who is playing for the first time. I support this idea. I don't mind playing against arranged teams for the most part, but a random feature would be cool for those times when you just wanna try new builds.

Ah, my apologies, you had a known forumer on your team and frankly you guys steamrolled them, in every possible manner, including kills and flag caps. I'm sure you can understand my mistake.
Accountability is defined as "A is accountable to B when A is obliged to inform B about A’s (past or future) actions and decisions, to justify them, and to suffer punishment in the case of eventual misconduct" or more simply; "The obligation to demonstrate and take responsibility for performance in light of agreed expectations" If you follow the forums at all, then you have probably already guessed that this leading to a discu
I just don't understand the logic here. It's as if you are saying damn every other player in the game, I'm gonna take my toys and go home. I realize we are dealing with the anonymous nature of the internet, but people need to realize that the other players in the game are people too. People that would like to play a game to conclusion.

Well, an arranged team versus new players doesn't really add to the discussion, I'm unsure how the screenshot is supposed to validate anything. Erebus is an evasion character, it's not as if we are unraveling some sort of elusive mystery as far as his playstyle goes.
Don't quit games, it's as simple as that. It ruins the game for all players when someone ups and quits the first time they die or simply because they don't know how or want to fight a particular Demigod. It's a selfish act. Banlists would not exsist if people could simply excercise some maturity and common courtesy.
I just won a game using Kalil's build. I have to say it was highly entertaining. I did take bite simply to help out the team in early kills while I set up for misting. Had a few close calls early on before mana regen was up to spec, but ended up closing out the game with 4 kills and 0 deaths. We played on leviathan and I was able to to choke enough (with night walker assistance) to stop their spawns. Our team was able to cap the map and simply walk right into the enemy base. I
wow, the AI editing and battling sounds awesome!
Yea, for me, DemiGod is a side game. I normally Play RTS and MMO's but nothing has been keeping my interest lately other than DemiGod. I look forward to getting into some serious competition/ladder/tournaments when everything gets stable, but atm I just play customs to try out new builds and DemiGods. Didn't bother to to join Pantheon this time around due to the low XP gain from bots, not much point in taking it very seriously when playing 5 human matches will outweigh 20 AI m
Yea, I love TB, but he sounds like an angry 15 year old.
It has become increasingly annoying. And lately I have had to sit through two and three 30 second times out back to back because of people leaving the game. One guys loses connection, wait 30 seconds, then his teamates proceed to leave via the quit game button, wait 30 seconds per player leaving. Yea, it gets really old, fast. This is not Stardocks issue however, but hopefully Frogboy will pass it on to GPG.
well, of course, there are many factors involved with approaching regulus, mainly player skill (of the Regulus) but when possible I prefer to be agressive and move towards him and get in his face right as he tosses his mines.
[quote who="Kalil Chernov" reply="20" id="2211473"]I first documented this technique here. It's an interesting tactic, but by no means an automatic win, since the side with the misting erebus is effectively down a demigod for the duration, potentially allowing your team to steamroll them - if you ignore the steady stream of nightwalkers. Furthermore, the Erebus will be the only enemy DG gaining XP/gold from those creeps, and thus his team may suffer from a level defficiency.
[quote who="Eternal_Silence" reply="16" id="2211433"] You might be right. You might be wrong and I am right. That's why I'd love to hear from the game design folks at GPG and/or SD to weigh in on this. I've never seen a permanent invulnerability state in an RTS or and RPG, therefore I thought it worth discussing. I'm not naive, as I am a pretty experienced RTS/RPG gamer, I'm not uber dexterity hand skills as I am an old dude, however I do understand
