I miss frogboy =(

#2 happens to me frequently, usually happens on the next game started after an alt tab. It's basically as if a layer of light is missing. Map is very dark as if it is night, glows and auras appear (on towers/units) but its as if someone flipped off the light switch. I am running an Nvidia 9800 GTX+
lol, ya, people wil do/say anything to avoid reprecussions
Quoting VyperXXX, reply 6 What makes you think that many copies were sold? Frogboy said they sold 100.000+ copies in retail alone, not counting the digital sells on Impulse.
You must be mistaken, there would be more than 500-2000 people online even with all the problems if they sold 100k units. I recall that there were something like 120k pirates trying to log in, maybe thats what youa re thinking of.
A fair price would be 2$ per demigod and they should come in pairs. Maybe 3$, but that's it, no more than this. Imo, 3$ is allready expensive. People who say that they will pay 5$ or more for a demigod or 40$ for an addon, don't know what they are talking about. Yes, let's say they cost them 100.000$ for one Demigod. But they sold Demigod in at least 110.000+ copies. Now let's assume that not all the people who bought it will buy the n
yea, I have to say, with the connection issues and favor ironed out, rage quitting seems less common now. It's also less aggrivating when it does happen because there is no server split and I keep my favor. One of these nights I wanna play the frog! [e digicons]:borg:[/e]
I would pay for an expansion pack. I don't care much for the idea of buying demigod "singles". Make an expansion with a couple heroes and some maps and Ill fork over my $20-30 bucks. An ideal expansion to me, would be, 4 Demigods and 6 maps. For that I would pay 30 bucks.
I am against it, because I dont want game play to devolve into tower hugging because someone can see my items/consumables.
Good post. I find that talking really helps a lot, crack a joke in the lobby or at the very least say hello.
I would buy an expansion for Demigod.
Vyper, The OP is taking comments out of context, there has never been a suggestion to mod in the ability to see your enemies items. Bman's mod doesnt do it, neither does the other one. The only mention of it is in the threads about those mods where people ask if they can do it, and the answer was a firm no, that data is not accessable by the UI elements irrc.
Yea, I wasn't trying to say Bman was intending to release an enemy item mod
GPG has posted a few a times in the forums, but yes it's not much. Also, GPG has their own website they post in. http://forums.gaspowered.com/ You guys should go get active in the DemiGod Forums there and make suggestions etc.
thanks for consolidating Ghost. +1

If they release more good products I will purchase them, if they don't then I wont. Always try before you buy...
I do. When I fork out money for a multiplayer game, and it gets tossed onto gamespy like a piece of garbage and forgotten about, I do not purchase from that studio/publisher again. Stardock has gone above and beyond, and I will buy their pr
Well, to be honest I really don't see a *need* for a display showing ally health and mana. Only sedna would use it, and Sedna does not always play support, so it just feels like fluff. I am not against it though. Showing enemy items/mana on the other hand, I am firmly against. For one, I feel that learning item builds, reserching on the forums etc. is simply part of the game, and to a small extent a part of your skill. To simply have any joe blow see my item build feels cheap.</
Absolutely! In fact, no other company has left such a strong impression on me since the days of pre-WoW Blizzard. The bad launch may turn out to be a good omen, Stardock has earned some serious street cred for sticking it out and not leaving us hanging. Thanks to everyone at Stardock, and thanks to their families for putting up with the long hours! [e digicons]:w00t:[/e]
just played a pantheon match and it was flawless. Kudos!
It really depends on what the patches bring. I really have little to no desire to play anymore with the current state of of the game. Pantheon and Skirmish are not working properly and custom games are either premades stomping all over randoms or ragequitters. My choices are basicly get to rick rolled by a premade or play 10 minutes and have some one rage quit. I want to play, I really do, and I still lurk the forums everyday, but I fear the community is just to sub par
just keep a list of premades names and avoid them
that could work
Fix your errors and you wont have to worry about it
You guys act like there's so many games running that you can be particularly exclusive, but the truth (or at least what I misperceive as the truth) is that you're going to have to compromise to play and seems just as likely that the community will dwindle as grow (granted I haven't looked at the sales records as of late, if they're still being posted).
Quitters do not help a community grow. A lot of us would rather not play

The day this system affects me is the day I delete DG and stop telling my mates to buy it. Maybe I'd be better off with the Warez players on hamachi then bowing to the facist tactics mentioned here.
Hooray! Please go ahead and delete now!
Frogboy, I've the best ever useless suggestion that maybe you can tell to GPG to consider: Make the "adustable speed +1" the default gamespeed. The normal speed is really boring to play. Now, i'm only doing custom games because of that. I, and i'm not alone (maybe it will be useful to do a survey) are thinking that demigod lacks a little bit of reactivity and nervousness. I think it's reall
