So how many posts today are you going to make about people leaving games and all the things that should be done. Can we compile all this into one? :P
You're either not very smart, or are intentionally misunderstanding what I said.
Hey idiot, could you try reading first? Stop quoting me out of context.
I support this idea. Prevents good players from leaning so heavily on gains from less experienced players. They still benefit of course, but the boon is gradually tilted to be less of an exploit .
It is your fault, you didn't support him or work as a team. We don't reward f
It doesn't take into consideration that players familiarity with the heros for example, just one of many more issues. I understand what you're trying to do, but.. im the skeptic type.
esl.eu
I havn't been very impressed with that site. Maybe.
Kudos to you for starting it but I don't think I have enough time to devote to Demigod for a tournament scene, unfortunately. Nor do I think I'm 'good enough'.
Everyoen is welcome to participate :) it will most likely be single elimination rounds with maybe 2/3 for a final. I havn't decided yet, depends on how many we get.
That would never prove anything. Theres far too many variables in that equation for it to have any significant meaning. The one thing this community needs to learn is patientce. Theres so may stratgies unchallenged and untried that to declare anything at all atm is nothing more than speculation.
If there is enough interest in another map such as cataract, I will change it. I personally think Leviathan has the most interesting matchups due to the mp/hp flags (my opinion, I know). This is of course only one of many tournaments to come, which I hope to increase the frequency to at least bi-weekly.
Clearly this debate cannot be settled by mere arguments or valid points. The only way to resolve this conflict is through the BATTLE OF TRUTH.
NO U [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
As I said before tho, I don't even know how DG can do 4v4. A team with 4 regs will never lose
Wrong. Not going into it, look for it yourself.
Elixir" reply="19" id="2304738"]Awesome thanks again SoFFAcet, so just to be clear you can't tell Monks who/when to heal? You can only control their movement and who they attack? Thanks a ton!
Correct.
The playerbase IS a casual playerbase, I play 2 games a night. How is that NOT casual playing? The difference is I don't make excuses and cry everytime I die. I don't quit at the first sign of aversion, I tough it out. Theres countless replays of me turning games that i'm losing around, because I choose NOT to concede or being a little crybaby. Stop touting your philosphy as facts. This game has PLENTY of momentum swings designed under it. There is NO REASON why you cannot turn a
I never asumed YOU did. My entire post circled around the fact that if you wanted a challange, naming your game would increase the odds of it happening. I know it doesnt always work, but i do know that the vast majority of games i join with "no noobs" in them have less people who dont know what they are doing And nobody is asking you to reply or even read these posts, so the only one to blame for wasting your time is you. The sort of person that you are
If I kept argueing with people who adamantly believe their right without regard to reason, I would be on teh fourms 24/7 and posts would never die. The only reason I stopped argueing in the first thread with that moron was because the Mod asked me to. You're clearly too stupid for your own good though, and this will go straight over your head, so i'm done.
Since there is no official tournaments taking place, i'm going to be starting one for us. I will need some additional help as I plan to take this to the next level, and setup an application driven website where we can post results. I'm hoping to have a tournament within two weeks from now without the bells and whistles, and old fasioned with the results posted here. This will be DEFAULT settings on Leviathan. Any interested parties should make their entries as a reply to this pos

I stop argueing with those who are obviously beyond reason. For example: you, where your ego is SOOOOOOOOO massive, that you actually distort your preception of reality from the truth just to maintain an internal balance.
KILLING PEOPLE IS NOT AN EXPLOIT, HOLY CRAP.
our a bad person. Playing in a premade match against random players who are unaware is bad. Your comments are bad. Chances are you bad at the game to, and possibly even worse at naming games. How can you state with such conviction that Random players are ruining your play experience because they don't want to fight vs a premade team. Nobody wants to play a game for 30 minutes where there odds of winning are non-existant. But oh yea, poor you it took 20 minutes to get a game going becau
Im not asking to be spoonfed info whenever i join. If i happen to be vs a semi premade or some pro and i lose horribly, then thats just bad luck. Personally id prefer if all games had some info in the name (which takes like 1 second, and saves you countless dissconects because people dont like being hammered by a pro premade 2 minutes ingame) I join alot of names which have no obvious name, andi take whatever i f
Your arguement makes no sense. First off, i'm not here to defend thsoe who simply claim themselves as "pros". This game hasn't been out long enough for anyone to look at themselves in that light.
The idea that the game isn't balanced for some does have foundation. There have been plenty of thoughtful threads to that very idea, you just dismiss it because the smaller community you've taken up with has rationalized the contrary, and it doesn't serve your purposes, so the work isn
Actually, the idea of "doubles" being imbalanced can be technically "proven" It would require much data. Data that no one has gathered. Data that is not a screenshot of a game where you beat some doubles team. I'm not saying it's not possible, but don't pretend like any of us have access to the metrics that we would need to assert an verifiable conclusion.
Clearly yo
The idea that a game isn't balanced for a new player as opposed to a competitive player has no foundation for an arguement whatsoever. All that comes down to is who is the better player. I'm not really sure anyone has made a decent arguement in the history of these forums to the opposite. Restrictions on your skill may "seem" like an imbalance, but, it is infact not. As far as competition goes, i'
Why would you "love" the idea of this? and bonuses is an even worse idea, that rewards you for failing in the first place. Theres not supposed to be a magic swinging balance hammer! If you make a mistake, you are supposed to PAY for it, it is your job to overcome that mistake during the course of the game which is ENTIRELY doable.
No one has "proven" anything, other than the fact that people will do what they want to do.
Actually, the idea of "doubles" being imbalanced can be technically "proven". It is skills that may not align properly, and currently there are none that I have seen. All this thread has proven again is how much casual gamers can whine.
I dont really plan on naming anyone, but i do feel it should be atleast decent behaviour to let a random group know they are up against impressive odds
It's my goal to spoon feed every random player whatever he wants everytime he joins my game. Seriously, i'm tired of this shit. It's not the hosts fault at this point, the inability to do team matchups is at fault here. Get over it, stop crying already.
