I like it in the first 5 levels of a match, but after that its use becomes much more limited. I'll occasionally use it to heal towers later on in a match.

Your definition of premade is not what is in question here. It is the popular perception of what would consist of a premade by those who would play in a match labeled "no premade." You cannot tell me that you are surprised that anyone would see your record of having played dozens of games with Towel, combined with the knowledge that you two were in the same room together, would consider you a premade. With the understanding that you and Towel can very easily be construed as a premade, particu

I didn't read the rest of this page, I'll just start by responding to Cap'n's first post. You are likely right that the d/c was after 5 minutes. I didn't really give too much thought into what time it might have been, and probably inadvertently embellished the number. I just remember thinking that it was too bad it was already past the 3 minute mark where quitting is not held against a person. Either way, it was still early game. I would say no higher than level 8. I know it wasn't ne
... otherwise the host would have quit just to spite you and your teammate.
Just wanted to reiterate that the host of the game, Warbirdd, was a model player and very polite (though he did not talk in All often). I have absolutely no qualms with him, and I would not want anyone who reads this thread to leave thinking that he falls under the same category of player as Captain Entropy and TowelofDoom.

We did outrank them, but we held the upper hand in War Rank most of the game. It was a very smooth and consistent trend towards our win; there was very little back-and-forth. I think one of the biggest fails in this is that they were playing the game while at work, and then used that as an excuse as to why they were losing. (Again, I did not notice any periods of time in which they were both absent, but I wasn't looking for it so they may have occured without my realizing

Thanks much! I didn't realize until Pacov commended my gameplay that this can actually be construed as a feat. Main reason I posted this is because it direclty relates to this thread, and the attitudes of those two players on the other team really annoyed me.

Do you wear a helmet all the time in case something falls on your head, too? (I wonder how the odds compare to doomsday asteroids)

Stargate died for me when Richard Dean Anderson left. He was what really made the show fun to watch. (alien guy): "You can't be serious!?" (RDA): "..well, I can be. I just choose not to."

well, it's still mostly health stacking. I like the heroes, personally, and having differnet builds for each one almost makes up for their being so few. At least one new DG is supposed to be coming out in the next month or two, I think. There are tactical choices and manuevering in most of the maps. Crucible, Prison, and Brothers are pretty bad (I only played Mand once), but the rest I mostly enjoy. Cata (and particularly the awkward Portal placement) gets ol

Yeah, I babysat him the Rook a lot. Lucky I decided to try out Sedna in a tank/heal spec, and even more lucky the AI decided to get tank items (I noticed it had ~6k health at one point near the end). That, and frantically trying to ping the Rook away from them if they run away (that system needs to work better, cuz right now it really does little other than make the AI twitch around more often than not). Like I said in my summary, two people on their team did say they had

Worry about the devil you know rather than the devil you don't. (Not the correct usage of the idiom, but let it slide ;)) I'm not entirely convinced that we can do anything if there is something coming for us. Put rockets on it? Safely landing something on the space object, let alone getting it set up correctly to push it, sounds awefully difficult. Blowing it up assumes that it's small enough to blow up, and that the chunks won't be just as bad. But like I

I already posted this in the Hall of Shame, but it very closely relates to this thread as well. The Rook on my team d/c with ~5 minutes (and Rook has got to be the worst AI), but my teammate and I still pulled a win. A couple of the players on the other team demanded we concede about a minute after the Rook d/c. (Not Warbirdd though - he kept quiet most of the game, cept for the occasional amiable remark and 'gg' at the end.)<img src="http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/5162/ca

Found this was amusing. Want to start by saying Warbirdd (the host) was upstanding and amiable. He seems to do games labeld "no premade", but at the same time the same people sometimes join his games. I went into the game knowing full well he's played with his two teammates a couple times, but hey that's no crime, and it wasn't consistent enough for me to be suspicious. About 5 or so minutes into the game the Rook on my team disconnected. Rather unfortunat
