I'm having tons of trouble beating a friend who goes for an endgame build of regulus. (3 vs 3 on Cataract) It always happens like this: We basically dominate the entire game, are always 3 or 4 warscores above the reg players, and yet they drive us away from their main base playing smartly. Both times we've completely cleared the way to their citadel. However, I usually have enough cash at warscore 10 to get giants and push them into their own base, which makes it seem like

Well that's the thing about having two builds: one spit and one ooze. I play with a spit user all the time and we work great together.

I've found the best scenario, for me as UB so far, is to go for trebuchets. It severly limits the distance he can close on your base. If he tries to truck through and charge your base you can easily kill him as any towers he summons will go down quick.

Just edited a lot of stuff. Thanks for the input so far and I like your one rank of spit build Darvin, unfortunately I've been playing with some expert people a lot and they stack some health regain early to avoid some spit, so I'm having a bit of trouble making it work. :( I tried adding ooze at level 2 and that seemed to help, combined with spit, to melt faces, however. 1 level earlier tends to make a difference sometimes so that you can push enemy demis out of lane

One health pot, although you'd take damage while using it, will take less time to use and will heal 3k instead of 1800. Of course, if you heal as soon as you're 3k down you're good, but this would only apply to late game. Early on, I get what you mean. :| HOWERVER, as unclean beast, if you use foul grasp when he shields, it cancels it out and shield is usually down by time foul grasp is done! That's another reason I love UB.
Quoting Tiny4Ever, reply 7oak without pentinence...what a joke You fail at understanding: 10 spirits + 5 moral + minions items + your own damage + 1 sould power = AMAZING damage you cant get this with pentience. pentience is not that of a must-have like bite or spit, you can build usefull builds without it like this one. I would put 1 point for the interupt cause with its low cd you can

The important thing to realize is oak has no real way to heal, put up a long lasting shield, or bite people to death like other generals. (The lower ranks of shield don't last long at all, and max rank it only heals 600 health) Your only hope of pushing enemy demigods out of lanes is going for some damage skills early. Oak really becomes a true general later on in the game.

I thought the exploit was only for multiple priest units from different tiers, not just one, but thanks for letting me know, now I know that re-selling doesn't work. :D
Maxed Ooze translates to 1k dps over 10seconds and 300 damage taken, it's not really all that DPSey since in that same 10 seconds I'll put out at least 2k worth of procs alone on top of regular melee damage, so if you think spit does too little damage in end game this does one third less. I will train ooze 10+ for it's 40% attack speed debuff however. Also an UB starting speed advantage is easily beaten by someone with swift ankle

If you're battling tooth-and-nail for dominance, it may be better to use the gold immediately and establish dominance. Regarding whether to push an empty lane or defend a full lane... I'd recommend splitting the team. 2 guard the full lane and prevent the enemy from taking a tower. They should play very safe - not die

It has some promise, but I don't get how you'll be able to kill enemy demigods, it looks like you have no damage skills the first few levels. I really don't recommend minotaurs as monks do okay damage and heal you for a lot more than devine justice, and will help you beat an enemy demigod away, while minotaurs are little more than meat shields. Under the start section, they can kill you at towers if they follow the creeps in and let them take the heat, and devine justice doesn't h

HP is nice, and attack speed is about 2.0 increase. Not really worth it in my book. It might be better to increase Speed + attack speed. or use spit anyway... but that requires mana and mana item.... But hey, I'm going to try it out and see if I can givee better info then this. Thanks for the info.[/quote

In terms of gold I always hoard gold after I upgrade myself with some good, cheap armor. (Hauberk of Life, banded armor, and unbreakable boots, of course there's more to buy if you're mana dependent) By the time I've upgraded I do what you do and save for all the way to catapults, otherwise you do in fact feed the other team unless they have absolutely no aoe damage. It sounds like that rook didn't know what you were talking about. In terms of the lane push, it depen

Hello everyone! So, having done some considerable testing since my anti-Unclean Beast guide, I now have enough info to write up a guide on a build for UB's (Unclean Beast) ooze! Have you ever been annoyed when spit can't deal with the higher levels? Have you ever wanted to never have to buy a mana item? Have you ever wanted a skill that can't be interupted, silenced, or stopped in any way? Have you ever wanted a bunch of creeps to die just when you walk up to the

Even with that amount of heal you will probably be run off, because you can't do that much damage. A demigod with abilities will eventually damage you enough to cause you to run, and if they have any armor whatsoever you are stomped because all you can do is auto attack. I didn't realize you wanted to be a ninja flag capper, I was assuming you wanted to be a ninja in the terms of surprising someone and killing them. Even so, you should at least have some pounce, it's the onl

I've never played DoTA, (*gasp*) but I hate that all reviewers are comparing demigod to it. Yes, they might have gotten the idea from DoTA, but for pete's sake it's a mod from an old game.

QoT can shield herself, go to open form, pop ground spikes and close. That's what I always do anyways, it usually runs demigods off when they realize I'm doing okay damage and they can't dent my health. Works really well against ranged people. It's almost always profitable to "split up" in 2 vs 2 unless a demigod really needs to be killed, to both get flag control and farm max creeps.

From a different thread... 4% minus attack and move, 7% and 10%. The 4 and 10 percent I know are correct, but I'm absolutely sure that those are the beginning and ending rank percentages, just not sure about the 7%. The thread is probably on page 2 or 3.

It sounds more like a support guide, tbh you can heal up but won't be able to kill anyone. If you want a ninja, I'd recommend pouce at level 1, grace at level 2, heal at 3, (heal takes WAY too much mana before level 3 to be worth it) and maxing in that order. Other points can be put into healing wind, presence, etc. And no offense vox, but I'd never waste mana using pounce on a creep. The most I use it for is a tower, monk, or a demigod. Lategame against

Just found some more neat/not so neat stuff, here's some other reasons I love ooze, and I'll probably write my ooze build in a different thread now. Good: Ooze cannot be silenced. At all. No attack stops ooze. It is truly and completely passive. Ooze stacks with plauge. Great for an endgame build, really ups damage. An Ooze build requires no mana since the only other skill you really want to be doing is foul grasp, which you won't be usi

I've noticed that there have, recently, been a large increase of players complaining about spit, so I've decided to make a guide on how to counter spit easily, and also how to counter people who know how to counter it. Note: UB stands for unclean beast. I will be using UB more than you see the word "global warming" in today's newspapers, so I figured I should let you know. Firstly, we'll deal with the beginning game. Here's how it goes down for every UB player:

We managed to do semi well spiking a tower, shielding ub, and letting him spit on the tower and claw it down in no time flat, but it wasted two people getting those towers down while the other team was able to farm and cap flags. However, if you leave rook alone, he will quickly push into your base and, as the achievement says, "All your base are belong to Rook." (It'd be cool if rook could talk, I mean he talked in his story right? What happened to his voice all the sudden?

For pete's sake, all the people saying UB is overpowered aren't thinking it through. If you are ANY general character GET MONKS. It will COMPLETELY negate spit, and higher level healers will continue to do so as the game progresses and spit gets more powerful. For instance, the person saying they couldn't beat him with Sedna, if you had gotten monks they would have healed you to spit's almost max damage, and combined with heal you could have completely negated UB and made
