I've tried that and can't figure it out. If I move while switching forms I get an interupt, leaving me in the original form.

If we could move while changing forms, like QoT, I'd definately go with fireball for my ice build. Otherwise, I can't use it to fire at retreating enemy demigods because of the time it takes to switch forms.

If you play against people who know what they are doing, they will grab monks, and UB will get progressively weaker later in the game as they upgrade them. If you can tell that they are smart, I recommend starting a melee UB at level 2.

This guide made me try out QoT, and I really liked it. Not only did we win, but we won badly. I did make alterations, but I can't tell you how many times shield + (shamblers if they aren't out and at my base) + mulch has saved my hide. Here's how the game went down, my allies were UB and Regulus against two regs and a tb on Cataract: In the beginning I bought a siege archer idol, sold it, bought a monk idol, sold it, and then bought the cheapest scalemale plate.&nbsp

If you think Stardock doesn't work hard to fix problems, watch their vid on youtube... they were working 48 hours straight to fix demigod. One of them was so tired he kept flying a starship around, he probably didn't even remember it in the morning. The important thing is it is mostly fixed. Sure, I can't do 5 vs 5 without AI, and sometimes Patheon bugs, and favor points... well they're fixing them soon, but I trust Stardock to keep providing us with service.

Wow Rustie, just to warn you here, you're probably getting a bad rep for your comments on ideas... you should really think of saying why it's a bad idea for once and leaving off the put-downs. Anyways, I kinda like the idea, although the way she would look like scares me. :D She seems kinda "underpowered", which is new for a demigod idea, buth with Harlequin dance I think it might even out. (Btw you might want to change danse to dance) <

For those of you who go either pure fire or ice, which do you prefer? I tend to go pure ice because rain of ice is tb's most devestating ranged power against armies, but I play the fire line when I want to dominate demigods.
the forest map is DotA the sea map just sounds stupid and blizzard is zikurat or w/e without the blizzards
Thank you for your valuable contribution... XD Anyways, I agree the Sea map is very unrealistic with ships and probably not possible, however I like your portal idea, that'd be cool for a new map.

Of course that's average. No one is average. My brain operates at about 12000 ms a second. In fact, it took me 5 days just to write this post.

If anything they need to have health lowered, not sadly. :D On 75% of the maps rook tower farming is unstopable unless you have a tb or regulus, but we shouldn't be forced to pick one of those two when we see someone taking him. :| But to actually be on topic, thanks for finding this out.

So it seems like people have been coming up with a lot of demigods, why not maps? Here's two I've thought up: Forest: A big, lush forest with three, really long paths to the enemy base. However, there's a bridge not far to the north of your citadel. If you hold the flags on both sides, it raises, saving you a ton of time. If anyone captures just one of the flags the bridge lowers again, killing all units that were on it. Sea: Your team starts out

Well, by time we got to attacking rooks we'd both die. I'm not saying we sucked but there were far too many towers and pounding rook/using reinforcements didn't really help. It was a bad matchup since Erebus and QoT have a hard time, (at least QoT does in the beginning of the game) against all those towers on a small map. If we tried letting the reinforcements soak damage to try and gank a rook we'd get chain boulder rolled and die. :| Oh well, it happens, and I

With TB at least, I always use Swift Anklet. I never have mana problems since I can usually afford the crown pretty fast anyway, and it let's me outrun assasin's early game so I can hit and run with rain of ice to kill creeps if I can't get them anywhere else. (rain of ice has some great range) Plus it stacks with speed boots, meaning I can outrun demigods even more and chase them when all my skills are more damaging later. When it comes to favor, I'd say it greatly depen

If you're a squishy demigod and UB is close enough to use spit on you, you deserve to die.

The real challenge on this map is beating two tower farming rooks. If they take your front two towers out, it's game over. You'll never get out of that one path to your base again unless you buy a warpstone, that costs 5k. And that's also assuming that by time you get 5k gold you haven't already been pushed so far into your own base that getting the gold flag would be futile. XD

People like rook would just tower camp the hill. However there could be some fixes to this. like the Hill itself has an aura, like a drain mana, attack speed, whatever, that henders players inside to discourage camping right next to the flag. This way, players could at least get around the towers or other defensive formations. Otherwise, good suggestions so far.

I was just DOMINATED in a tournament game. I got paired with an Erebus and I was QoT, we both generally knew what we were doing. Guess who we got paired up against? 2 rooks on the 2 vs 2 map. (starts with a c, has only one path to the enemy base) We both thought of the bright idea to port out straight away and cap the flags fast, by time we got back to start killing the first wave of minions we found that our opponents were rooks and they already had 4 towers up.

UB is not overpowered at all. Spit is his bread and butter skill, he hopes that you think he is all that in melee too, because we all know late game when you hit the 6k health mark UB's spit is useless. UB has low health, so without spit he couldn't kill you. However, he is strong enough to kill you as you are trying to run away.

This is my very first demigod idea, so bear with me and tell me what you think. :D Name: King Roland Alignment: Light Story: Not creative enough to think up of one yet, but probably something along the lines of defending his kingdom and such. He would be completely in heavy armor with an iron crown, mounted on a horse, with a mace in one hand and shield in the other. Type: General Low Attack Speed, Low Damage (About 150 wea

Last time someone rage quitted on our tournament match I got disconnected. I now share your hate. *force chokes rage quitter* You failed me for the last time

It's bad enough when you have to wait 30 seconds for someone to rage quit, but it seriously angers me that ever since the patch came out it disconnects ME every time someone rage quits now. XD Is there any way that they are going to stop rage quitting in the future? Or is it not possible?
Thrandiul, I'm certain you mean to be posing a counter argument but your comments only further support why I feel we should have the Scroll effect Demigods. As long as I've played this game, I've desired to have an item to heal negative effects for the list of reasons you just provided. If I want to spend money on that, then should have every right to. Not everyone will play the same way, and not everyone will be packing a lot of s
