its not supposed to compete against warcraft 3 as a strategy game, its supposed to compete with warcraft 3 - defence of the ancients, as a strategy rpg game. 8 maps in demigod > 1 war3 dota map and graphically, on a good computer, demigod looks better than warcraft 3 in that its full 3d, whereas war3 is only partial 3d if you know what i mean. like in demigod, you can actually look around the map, and pay attention to all the little details they put in.

those favour points dont appear to count. to get favour points, you need to complete the achievements whilst logged into your online account. ie. kill 25 demigods in one game, finish a game, kill 1000 demigods, etc. these are the only favour points that seem to stick to your account.

there are a few of us australian players out there, but not many as the game is technically not released in australia yet. should pick up soon though as the australian release will be coming out soon, and it will start out with the 1.01 patch readily available.
