Yeh but later on the upgrades just really arent worth it. I mean most of the towers have been destroyed by the time you can afford them
I'm speaking about valuable upgrades of course. Currency 1, Repair 1, XP 1 and creeps mainly.
I think the citadel upgrades need a slight gold reduction though
I don't think so. What you get for the money you invest in citadel really worths it. Team mates who ignores citadel just don't know how to play and forgot DG is all about teamplay.
I juste played a game yesterday against 2 Reg. Remember Reg's main weakness is he cant' stand 1v1 against almost all other DG, especially generals. With low armor, low HP, he 'll often try to attract you into towers; never go there except if you're at least level 5 & if you feel you can kill him. Just keep the flags and up your warscore; get a little back, they'll approach the flag and chase them until they get to their tower, then back, etc. <
[e digicons]k1[/e] Currency is the only reason that makes me come back to citadel when I don't need health or mana.
Anyone saying Hammer Slam is useless, pro game or not, just don't master it. A rook mastering Boulder Roll / Hammer Slam is extremely dangerous. You can never get close to him without being in danger, except if Boulder Roll is in cooldown.
One skill point to get +15 HPS, I'm definitely in.
I've just tested it out, but you're wrong, this is not working. I've walked around a friend with Ooze and Post Mortem active. He never got infected by Post Mortem until I AA him... This sounded too good to be true [e digicons]B)[/e] However, I guess it may work with BotS cause in the description text, it goes: "... of your damage ..."
[e digicons]:omg:[/e] Are you sure?? [e digicons]:omg:[/e] So... when you fight an ennemy DG in a mess of 10 ennemies creep, and those get killed by Ooze, Post Mortem do 1500 damages to ennemy DG?! This is awesome... I thought Ooze didn't "spread" Post Mortem because Post Mortem goes like: "When UB attacks, ..."
Erebus is my best DG also, our builds are very similar, except I max Mass Charm instead of Mist (only one point of Mist in my build) and I choose differents artifacts. I know my build is extremely efficient and I'm sure your is also. Good luck in Afgh.
One question about Post Mortem Kokujin: I don't think Ooze infect creeps with Post Mortem, so I'm not sure to see the point in taking Post Mortem (which is very good against creeps) when you have lvl 4 Ooze which is even better against creeps?
The bonuses given by stat points are not great for sure, and rook is probably the worst example (because he has the best stats, so these little bonuses make only little difference : try with reg and look for fire TB which has the choice between stats points beyond lvl 15, or 4 levels - 16 to 19- invested into a spell he will never cast)
I should give a try but - Fire TB can't even aim with AA when following someone & Reg AA build is not know for being the best,
+1 for QoT buff. She mostly needs continuing strength and usefulness beyond lvl 10. +1 for not making player notes visible to all players. That sort of system would be ripe for abuse. With the new win/loss stats and premade info visible in the lobby, players will be able to make informed judgments about who they want to play with and avoid. It's enough if players can write their own individual notes about other players without these notes being open to the public.[/quo
[e digicons]:|[/e] your example seems very situationnal: if monks, if grunts, if Sigil... [e digicons];P[/e] I've opened a new topic on Stats, I wonder how people will react. -> http://forums.demigodthegame.com/364213
Let's begin with some numbers: 1 level of Stats : +115 HP / +0,18 HPS / +105 Mana / +0,32 MPS / +25 armor / +6 Weapon damage / +2% Attack speed 3 levels of Stats : +345 HP / +0,54 HPS / +315 Mana / +0,96 MPS / +75 armor / +18 Weapon damage / +6% Attack speed 6 levels of Stats : +690 HP / +1,08 HPS / +630 Mana / +1,92 MPS /
Yeah, I confess I forgot one little thing while posting: your strategy was specially made for 2v2 with Sedna. I must admit I have little xp on 2v2 match and therefore little xp on prison. So I'll try to develop my " best own build " on 3v3 cataract, hehe, trying some stuff. You must be right for Post Mortem, I'll do that and take it when grunts are out. Thanks!
I tried this build a few times and first results are very positive, I really enjoy playing that way [e digicons][/e] Nevertheless, two things: <
At lev 5, I start MOST battles with grasp, immediately activate ooze, spit and then pursue.
Where's the point about starting a battle with Foul Grasp? Its does nearly no damage, cost a lot of mana and it prevents you from using it during 15 looong seconds. Maybe expecting to interrupt the first abilty opponent will use? But that would just be luck. No, you should only use Foul Grasp as interrupt or when a friendly DG is nearby.
I personally don't believe
Thanks Frogboy for this huge amount of informations! Nevertheless, I think many people (experienced players) consider that there is a real problem with Queen of Thorn. I mean, it's not some personnal consideration; lots of threads speak about that fact, lots of statistics go in the same way: "Facts: There is not a single QoT in the ESL 2vs2 or 3vs3 ladders and I'm the only QoT in th
Getting Power of the Tower late game is really useless, you will spend your mana for nearly nothing. However, it's true that if I feel the game won't last until I am level 15 (either I'll win or lose before), I'm getting Enhanced Attributes after level 11. If I can reach level 15, this is really enjoyable: most of the time, if an ennemy DG comes too close, he will die before he can even think of fleeing [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
6th of July, 2009 → Aggro Rook guide update. New stuff, better presentation. Mainly thanks to your feedback. Feel free to comment [e digicons][/e]
drop boulder roll III for 6th point in stats - roll III is very mana intensive, and with a 2 second stun from roll II you won't be interrupted anyway also, some games require the use of structural transfer, some require the use of towers, a good rook player needs to adjust to the map, game type, and enemy demigods e.g. crucible take towers lvl 12->15 to block off the single lane, big maps take 1 in transfer at lvl 3 or 12. ah yes and don't forget to pick up a w
Very nice post Aroddo, I've learned stuff. But this is purely theorical, as it has been already said. Since Boulder / Slam is, imo, essential to Rook, where Bestial Wrath is sometimes totally inefficient to UB. Nice excel anyway! [e digicons]k1[/e]
Pure Aggro Rook’s Build I . Intro </spa
Nice guide RobWild. Pure fire TB was the first demigod I manage to play reasonnably well when I began the game. I played it almost the same way you are and I think this is a really good build.
Thanks, maxxy, for these very interesting facts! After a few plays, the result seems (pretty logically) to favorise BotF for the start of the game, whereas Poisonned Dagger makes ennemies more easy to catch during mid/late game. Beginning of the game being very important imo, I think BotF won this battle. Once again... [e digicons]B)[/e]
