I've seen rooks do this before, they only do it when the game is clearly over, they have already pressed concede, and the ally failed to comply.

Not many people are joining the skirmish/pantheon queues at the moment, and after waiting in the queue for a long time it sticks you with AI just to get games going. Not to do with players dropping in this case, I was watching the stats website this morning and it kept putting me with AI + you and the other reg because there were no forces of darkness players queuing.
I don't like playing the tower build because its so f%&£ing boring because no-one wants to come into contact with you. ^^
Polynomial, I am running an overclocked Q6600 and a 9800GTX+ ^^ Just preordered Windows 7, running on XP at the moment. My shadows look shit at 1920x1080, all jaggy. Also I don't think the 9800 likes full HD, not enough memory on the card rly (512MB). Might need to upgrade to one of the newer dual chip cards with 768MB+ memory for full HD.
Well skirmish and pantheon seem totally dead at the moment, well over 50% of my games has an AI in resulting in conceding, and when you do get matched its not anything to do with skill, just who happens to also be in the queue at that time, making matchmaking a big waste of time. Customs are getting annoying now too because its always the same people playing, and also rage-quits / general lack of respect seem more common here.
if u go towers, take staff of renewal or u might as well not bother as u won't be able to set up a massive farm faster than people take them down go botf if u go slam/roll build
stats are totally borked you will sleep better at night the second you stop caring about them [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
^^ We were dominating the other team, and then the other two people on my team got dropped (Lonous was one) for no reason. I went on to beat the remaining forces of light player, but the game was recorded as a loss for forces of darkness. Pantheon 3v3 - one person on the forces of light raged. Then later on, my two team-mates on the forces of dark got dropped, as a 2nd player on the forces of light quit, leaving me + 1 forces of light guy. The
hardly anyone is playing skirmish / pantheon at the moment :( skirmish I see lots of 4v4 with 1 human and 7 ai, pantheon between 1-5 games active at any time, but very few people queuing these days...
yeah its really messed up, even with 60-70% win ratio I still go down xD Frogboy said in one of his last posts that they think they have fixed the problem now and fix will be out soon (dunno if it needs to be patched - might just be their side). Probably the Epoch III journal, can't remember.
your shadows look really nice, whenever I turn all my settings up to high, my shadows look so jaggy I just turn them off are you running on vista / dx10? orrrrr maybe they look better at low definitions, and they didn't do high definition shadows? (i run at 1920x1080) :S
If they title the games as premade, no-one joins. why does no-one understand this
If premades advertise as premades, no-one will ever join their games. Simple as. Anyway if they get 3 good randomers joining, it probably ends up being a close game, hence why they advertise as "pro only".
Things like the +10% exp might actually be viable if BotF didn't exist.
I would love to see someone take Mard's Hammer and dps items, and rely on bramble shield + bishops to stay alive. Then the benefits of ground spikes (and spike wave) can really be capitalised on.
well i can reliably interrupt as in "wait for her to use it, count to 3, then use deep freeze" then she cant use it for 5-7 seconds, but generally it is not possible to burst her down in that short amount of time.
No I use BotF all the time, I try other ones every now and then, but everything else feels WAY less effective than it. The other ones are good fun, which is why I was wondering what it would be like if BotF didn't exist ^^
thats because pen has a slightly larger range than spit, so whenever he saw you charging at him he would use it, and it "just so happens" to interrupt spit right before it is cast. the cooldown on pen is pretty annoying, they can keep a fireball permanently locked down vs a TB
The thing is it doesn't even matter if you get a kill or two, later in the game she'll come and whup your ass anyway even if you have better items. Same with rook, I find even if I gank him a lot early game, he STILL turns into a total power machine late game, and I don't stand a chance 1v1, again even with far superior items.
Being able to escape with another favor item is all well and good, but when it really comes down to it a good player with blood of the fallen will never have to run from a player not using blood of the fallen. Sure you can take poisoned dagger/swift anklets, but if the other player never needs to run, who cares? All the items you buy with another favor item can just as easily be purchased if you are using blood of the fallen. If there was no blood of the fallen, al
Blood of the Fallen was deleted? I really think this item is OP. A person with Blood of the Fallen vs a person without it will always win an encounter, forcing the other player back to base, and can just camp a flag for the first 10 levels of the game. Imagine if it was deleted. Then we could enjoy playing with all the other favor items ^^
Pantheon still has issues - there is NOTHING to stop a game starting with unbalanced teams (I got put with an AI in a 2v2 - grossly unfair) AND there is no QoS checks - I have been put in games with people with a ping of 600+ to me. I am in Australia, so I suspect they are in Europe... A ping of 350 odd is fine. Over 400 and it is a slide show. There needs to be better balancing...
If you get teamed with an AI, you can conced
you would think a spell with a 1 second cast should be able to easily be interrupted by one with a 0.1 second cast though... SUPRISE!
Sedna needs some serious nerfs. As an assassain, it is very hard to get a kill on her, because your spell damage gets instantly healed, then you eat a constant chain of 1k pounces, and as soon as you retreat she is back to full hp. The only advantage I see assassains having over generals is they get to pick extra stats, but they don't do jack all compared to the might of healing minions.
OMG I only just noticed it properly today, if you click back and forward on the ground to move, you can really see the delay! It's not generally noticeable, I didn't really notice it until now, but if you compare to any other game where the reaction on screen is almost instant, it feels like a REALLY long delay for your demigod to follow commands :O And yeah 0.45 seconds to interrupt something with deep freeze! WTF! Thats why its been so hard!
