No, currently games only take 20-40 minutes, if we add God to the game he's going to expect us to fight each other forever and I just don't have time for that.
^ LOL, very well played!
^ LOL, like I said: pompous with a chubbie for himself. I didn't know the Strat forum was for threads about how awesome u think u are (which is all this thread is... it has nothing to do with strategy, other than indirectly referencing a separate thread). Love your posts, they make me LOL but also sad for u; ya got some maturing to do, kiddo. I've seen lots of your posts & woulda never commented on your demeanor in any ("to each their own"), until I saw this one.&n
^ LOL. That, and the fact that he made a separate thread for how awesome he thinks he and/or 'his' build is, make me LOL. Anything can be great in a coordinated team, duhr. Overall, & especially if not playing with a premade setup, it's borderline stupid to not get at least 2 levels of Spit. I'm not the greatest player & am certainly not pompous enough to think I make other players "salty", but even I can see this build (from the original thread) isn
I have this issue as well. I was hoping to find something a bit more useful about it, other than they're "looking into it" as of a couple months ago. At least it's not a game-breaking bug, just an annoyance. Good to know they're aware of it, hopefully it's fixed in the next patch.
I just recently started playing as TB, & found him quite easy & fun, the only drawback being low HP. My Erebus buddy, 'Mies' I believe, was awesome & was the first & so far only person in all my DG time over the past few months to use this strategy. He parked a monk by me & it helped a lot . If I ever play a general again, I will definitley do this. It's one of those strats u kinda have to see firsthand to realize how effect
Ohh, sry I feel stooped. 90% of the time I do Panth, so I'm not used to custom settings, & this didn't state Custom games. Thx 4 clarifying & sry for interrupting the thread. Free bump :P
To sum up what I replied in another similar thread: I've experienced a much higher frequency of desyncs/Critical Game State (invalid state, whatever) in the past week after the latest patch than I did before. It seems like some are 'legit' game errors just randomly occuring, but a lot seem too perfectly timed to be anything but a rage quit/exploit for the loser to preserve their stats. I've probably played 3 days this week so far, & each day see 2 to 3 games end prematur
Would some1 mind clarifying what a 'high tower' is? A lightning orb tower? The only towers I know of are: the base lightning towers, the shorter arrow towers, and ofc Rook towers... I've never heard 'high' tower b4....
Just my 2 cents: since the latest update, I've noticed desyncs/Critical Game State errors a lot more than I used to in Pantheon. I typically play 3 to 5 matches on any given night I have time to play, & depending on how frustrated I get with finding a match & with desyncing 1/2 to 3/4 of the way into a match. The past few days, I've literally had 2 to 3 desyncs/CGS errors back to back each day, about 15 to 20 minutes into each game. Techni
I'm sure every1 already knows this, but HW is awesome on Zikurat, depending. X marks the spot. If your teammate is not gonna kill the creeps anyway (if they're capping a side flag), you can get essentially double XP from well timed HW's. I've had a lead of about 4 to 5 levels on enemies, & 2 to 3 above my teammate. Of course, I would never do this when they move to the center to farm creeps. In reply to some of ur posts: MotB is crazy useful for massi
Have you tried getting scaled helm to start instead of tp scroll + lock? Lets you snipe more. That's another diff from my build.
I've never tried it, but definitely think it's worth trying. The mindset I'm stuck in is buy a lock @ the beginning to buy as much of an early war score advantage as possible, which I typically value more than the extra few snipes the helm might grant, not to ment
Hey man, you look familiar ;P Yea BoS is awesome, & I used it with Angelic Fury & never needed mana gear. I never tried it without AF tho. I love BoS but that's still a tough call for me to ditch Heaven's Wrath (it helps level so fast early on, & altho 250 doesn't seem much, it still destroys creeps & is like 1 extra Snipe upgrade). I'll give BoS a shot, & also I think I'm gonna ditch Maim & Sniper Scope II to upgrade Snipe & Mines earlier
I wholeheartedly agree with this. 90% of the time, the player with more ai will concede anyway, so why bother wasting every1's time to begin with? AI should be severely limited in Panth, & definitely there should never be more AI on one team than the other.
I'm fairly new to the game (got it 3 or 4 months ago), & only play seldomly, but when I play I do for hours at a time. Lately I've got drawn into Regulus & have developed the following build on my own & it seems to work well. Really I guess I'm looking for general comments/criticism/advice, especially on equipment/favor items . Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I use this core setup 90% of the time, mainly for AoE creep
I've been playing for between a month or 2 & typically play Light & assassin class. I tend to stay away from the General playstyle, but am familiar with it & comfortable with some. I'm most familiar with Regulus, Rook, Oak, & Unclean Beast. I've only occassionally played TB, QoT, & Erebus, & up until a few days ago, had never played Sedna. So I gave her a shot. Now, I've seen some (IMO) crazy OP'd Erebus players who can seemingly run fas
Polynomial: I don't get why u seem to be taking the OP's opinion so personally. Especially your last reply... he wasn't saying or even implying that only 1 game can be good. I've only had DG for between a month or 2 now, but I must say I agree in general with the OP, but solely for one reason: DG's multiplayer matchmaking & connectivity is pretty sub-par & unbearable pretty consistently. I believe all the other
I've been getting consistent "Unhandled Exception" errors, and/or crashes to desktop, and/or freezing (during loading screen) since the last patch. Last night playing DG, I got a freeze about 20 minutes into a multiplayer match, & upon rebooting: no video at all. No CMOS/BIOS error beeps. It sounded like I was booting normally & fine, but I was unable to 'blindly' login to Windows. I tried multiple hard boots, tried swapping my vid card (GeForce 9800) f
Some noobish questions here if u guys don't mind: proxy servers in DG are used only for Custom games, right? And, what kind of connection/performance improvements/fixes does this give over DG's standard P2P? Thanks in advance. Found this post, but it didn't have quite all the info I was hoping for: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/354817

I always thought it was sorta odd that the Citadel range upgrade only affects fortresses. Then again, if that one upgrade affected fortresses and towers, it would probably be OP. So, I definitely agree with this idea & think it could replace the health/defense Citadel upgrade.
When I first started playing a week or 2 ago, I had nothing but friendly & helpful teammates when I literally was a noob. One time my teammate gave advice "buy a teleport scroll & telefrag them at a flag" & I was like "you mean telefrag like in Quake??!!" (I was real excited about this possibility). He just laughed & kept explaining basic shit patiently.
Quoting gkrit, reply 14 the only thing i would suggest in how to nerf spit would be to give it a .5 sec cast time. Please don't fiddle with spit. The ability is fine as it is.
Personally I agree that Spit needs some kind of nerf, & gkrit's suggestion is so mild yet would do so much in that regard. Either that, or lower the dmg a bit to something reasonable relative to the
Not to beat a dead horse or anything, but... I've only been playing the game for about a week, & I too thought mines were OP'd... at first. But once you get acclimated to the general playstyle of the game, you should realize that not only are they easily avoidable (casting animation, & if you notice Regulus is on the other team, you damn well better presume there are mines in at least creep lanes) & not over powered
