Useless?! Hardly! 59.5 DPS!!! That's obscene. Double the 30 dps you get Yetis and... and more than the 44 dps from Shamblers+Compost. They are not permanent fixtures like those guys, but quite helpful if you time them correctly. The main thing is conserving your mana and using the Gain Mana spell as often as possible.

Do you have numbers? My experience is they are pretty useful when combined with idols, king of the minotuars, and the Gain mana ability. The key is managing your mana by knowing when to cast them. I'm just looking for specific numbers on the Pokeballs if anybody has them. Thanks.
Hey, can somebody post the stats on the Lightning balls? It looks like they do a lot of damage. But I'm curious how they compare to Shamblers and Yetis.
As was the case with Demon Assassin, Gas Powered Games didn't take the easy way out. They could probably have gotten away with just reskinning existing Demigods with a mix of powers and called it a day. But they didn't. In both cases, they made sure they got new and interesting abilities that add strategic depth to the game.
Yes, yes, yes!! I"m incredibly impressed with the quality of these two new additions.
In hindsight, that
^Again, that's the fanboy approach... not the polished professional approach. But if you're going to be a fanboy, there's no grounds for getting upset when you and your product are not treated with professional respect on the forums.
Well, despite the current firestorm... Demigod is a GREAT Game, and is really in pretty excellent shape! So you certainly did not buy a lemon. My enthusiasm for this game can not be overstated. My concern is with the behavior of the publishers and the way they interact with the community, not the product they've published.
I just want to point out that I think the difficulty here has been blown out of proportion by both sides. However, it IS a matter of severe PR fail. "We haven't announced yet the addition of Oc. Right now, it's just tech savvy users who are able to add him. " "The update was released last night with the announcement going up today. In the history notes it mentioned Oculus and how to get him early. " Can someone please explain to me the rationale
EDIT: Never mind.
Parasite Egg, Parasite Egg, Parasite Egg. It seems a little expensive, but it should definitely help. Second, don't ever try to tank the General and his army. You're an assassin. Boost your mana, boost your mobility, and spike the shit out of him. Don't ever try to take an HP stacked general head on 1v1. Get him 2v1 and he hasn't a chance. Also buff your towers and your creeps.
Hey, Just curious what the news was here? Will Erebus be supported sometime soon? Thanks for all the great work! -J
Oh that's not a bad idea. For Oak/Erebus, one big dot showing the average health of the army. That'de be kind of neat! Just a thought. GREAT WORK! thank you thank you thank you thank you With this mod, I think demigod now includes everything I ever wanted it to.
Hi Guys! I like, no, I love what's happening on this forum. But I had a suggestion to help keep things organized. Which is especially important since it doesn't look like we're going to get a real MOD repository any time soon. Could you put the date of the MOD version somewhere in your thread? I like the idea of Editing Original Posts when you put out a new version, but please put the date of the update either in the Version
I'm not convinced health of the individual units in the large armies (Oak and Erebus) is really necessary. I think it would be cluttered and unclear. I mean who micros their spirits based on their health? Besides, the dots would be so small, selecting the ones with low health would be difficult and tedious. I'm not convinced it's necessary. Just knowing the count would be most helpful. For the small armies (Sedna/QoT/Occ?) it think it would be nice to hav
Everything apart from gameplay.
QFT!!
bman, this frieking rocks! Changes the game.
Would it be possible to give generals more information about their minions on the HUD? Perhaps their health bars...But at least how many of each type are alive? It doesn't seem like this would be too difficult given the kind of work Bman has done . I don't code at all, I'm just a Demigod enthusiast and I'd be very greatful to anybody who could produce such a thing!
oops, double post.
Thanks for your efforts! I really appreciate it. I tried this for a second, but I'm not sure it was working. I was really unclear, or rather, completely misleading in my original post. When you die/res. the camera does a couple things: on death: 1) Spin around and zoom in up close to see death animation. 2) Screen goes grey. 3) Spin back 180 degrees and zoom out a little bit. (This does
it'd be cool if you could use the icons in the Team Panel to target abilities like Heal or shield.
Just tried it. Works well Thank you very much. But i wonder why its not in the patch if that worked so fast oO...
This is an excellent question, especially after they spent so much energy making sure "all the moving parts were working."
Well, my friend uses a special mouse that doesn't have a mouse wheel, so he has to zoom out by hand when he dies (by mashing the minus key a billion times). It's pretty obnoxious and it'd be nice for him if he could mod this "feature" away.
Wait, the Patch Notes say that this was fixed. What's the issue here? I haven't played the new version yet.
Is there some way to display the number of minions of each time you currently have alive? That would be awesome! Thanks.
Do you think there's a way to make a mod that removes the Camera Spin when you die? Thanks.
if more people would just play pantheon, everything would be fine. It's not busted because the sides are split. It's busted because there just aren't enough people using it. According to opengames.asp there are 1494 people online and not a single person in queue for pantheon. Let's launch a campaign to get more people playing pantheon! It might work out quite well if people start using it.
