I'm running the retail version, with the 1.01 update, bonus pack, and all the extra downloads from the library page on Windows XP: Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but, whenever I colonize a system and rename it to a name of my choosing, all the planets in that system are named "Nova I", (assuming I name the system "nova"). So, all four planets will be "Nova I" rather than "Nova I", "Nova II", "Nova III", and "Nova IV". -Yak

Library Downloads: Are they in the Bonus Pack? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

If we download the bonus pack must we also download the Library downloads or are they incorporated into the bonus pack? Thanks, -Yak

Seriously, though...do the minor races have portraits? If not, will portraits of them be in releases later on? I think it would be cool to have more alien faces in the game. Also, do you plan on adding more Major Races later on? -Yak

To represent the other side of the fence, so to speak, I'd like to say I hate scripted scenarios in games, and was pleasantly surprised they omitted them in SimCity 4. I understand, of course, that many gamers enjoy that added challenge, but, for me, the joy in these kind of single player, open-ended strategy games is the fact I *don't* have to play a scripted mission. :not sure: That said, I can't wait for GalCiv to be released, this looks like a real treasure for the 4X community.<b

Shameless Plug: I've been playing SEIV gold for, I believe, about a year now, and, its indeed a very good 4X strat game. But, the diplomacy in the game is pretty crappy, something I'm very much looking forward to in GalCiv. -Yak

This may sound silly, but, what is Stardock Central? ;-) This is my first day visiting the site, I've read over pretty much everything so far, but, I'm unclear what exactly Stardock Central is. In the Encyc area there was a Bonus Pack section. I see now that it is gone. Where did it go? Also, could someone please explain what exactly the Bonus Pack is? Thanks! :)
