game keeps crashing in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

The game keeps crashing on me as it stands now. The game is pretty much unplayable for me. I downloaded Smartexception, but i do not know if it is working correctly either. for every crash I submit the crash error, but i don't know if it is sending it( i don't get a message like other games- where it says the crash has been reported.

I got the game up and running. I get crashes at diffrent times, sometimes it will crash after 5 turns sometimes 20 turns go by. I downloaded and have smartexception running. I don't know if it is submiting a exception report or not. I hit the submit the exception button and nothing happens. ~SDC~
