I've built as many morale-boosting social projects as possible but I still have two morale 1 planets. I conquered a minor race planet that had 80-100 billion people on it and it was morale 1. I colonized another planet with 20 billion of them and that one is morale 1 too. How do I fix this?
Under drivers it's called "Creative SB Live!" so I guess it's SoundBlaster. I turned off the sound before hitting end turn in one game but it didn't work.
800 Mhz 256 MB RAM And I really don't know the rest. And I can get through one turn. I've been playing this game for a while and I'm the most powerful civ in the galaxy. It's just that as soon as I hit "end turn" for this one turn, it CTDs. I also have sporadic CTDs but they're not so bad.
Whenever I hit end turn on the game I'm playing, it crashes. I have 1.01A, I tried saving it to a new slot, I turned off my firewall, I did everything. However, every time I hit end turn the game CTDs. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Random events are all right, I mean I've had two economic recessions in a row this game and I'm not complaining. What is bad are those events that simply end the game for you, right then and there. If the Draginol appear before you have Dreadnought technology there's practically no way to beat them unless you have a massive fleet of battleships.
Random events are OK, but some of them are simply too powerful because they come in too early. The Draginol came at me when I had just gotten battleships, so I could do nothing to stop them. What's even worse is that I've heard stories of people facing the Draginol or fundamentalists when they have just gotten defenders. No one can stop the Draginol with only defenders.
Has anyone else had the event where the Dragonin take over one of your systems and proceed to mass produce uber-ships? I got the first message saying an evil force was coming but I didn't know what to do to stop it. Well sure enough the Dragonin appeared. I figured I could beat them except they had dominators and overlords and other ships that destroyed mine. I had only recently gotten battleships so I had very few of them and I spent $15,000 purchasing them, but I don't have enough.
I found 1 copy at a local GameStop, and it was on the bottom shelf too. I was lucky I found it.
In my first game my scout ship came upon the Arceans and I got a message from them "Leave us alone or face our wrath blah blah..." and the game crashed to desktop. 800 Mhz 30 GB 256 MB RAM Windows 98
