I can only imagine the game doing well at $20. And a good tutorial could work wonders. I love the game but it's just plain brutal on newbies.

Hmm, that may have been my problem yesterday when I was running the latest NVIDIA beta drivers. I thought I fixed it by reverting to the latest non-beta drivers, but rolling NVIDIA drivers back kills your RefreshForce settings, so maybe that's all it was. It wouldn't be the first time my RefreshForce/RefreshLock combo has stopped a game from running at first.

I've got an X-Fi audio card with 5.1 speakers. The sound in beta 1 is pretty much all in the rear channels (when everything is in front of the camera)... when I started swinging the camera around the map I sometimes got sound effects in the fronts, but I couldn't really tell where anything was supposed to be coming from. I've dropped to 2.0 so it doesn't feel so weird :)

It could be optional, like single-click to hammerslam a target, double-click to just do it exactly where you're pointing on the ground... I found myself wanting to target the ground a lot, when there are a bunch of little guys and you know the splash damage will kill them all and you just want to smash and be on your way, it was kinda of annoying to have to pick a specific target.

8800 GT with the 177.92 beta drivers and all I get is a dialog box like this... "Unable to start Unable to create Direct3D. Please ensure system has current video drivers." I'll try rolling back to the latest non-beta drivers...
I'm curious if a person could be on multiple networks, host a game and then have people from different networks join the game.
I'm gonna have to guess no. That'd be like people on different LANs trying to play a LAN game together: not gonna find each other ;)
