I assume that your "Circle of Frost" = "Rain of Ice". [e digicons];)[/e] I actually use the auto-attack quite a bit. I get Rain of Ice as first skill, faster farming trumps more single damage, imo, especially early on, and is usually sufficient enough to push most enemy DGs out of lane. Fireball as my second skill, and Permafrost as a third skill. Mana is only an issue in the very beginning. Permafrost is a must for survival and as well as chasing down someone for that f

Please, fix Plate Visor BEFORE it is too late. [/quote] I just pretend it doesn't exist. Sits better with my mind.
I honestly believe several of you have missed the sarcasm that I detect in the OP's post.
You don't understand. It's not that we feel entitled to the coupons, it just feels like they gave a worthless gift. Might as well have been spam. It's poor marketing, imo, especially with the expiration date being confusing.
The only problem is if the entire losing team quits when they are obviously losing, then the winning team gets no favor points at all. So even hearing, "GG, you guys won" and then quitting is BAD. So, no, I'm not ok with people leaving when it's an obvious loss, and I don't do it myself. I always stick it out to the end, because to do otherwise would be screwing over the winners. However, I will tell the people whipping my butt to hurry the heck up. Some winners like to loiter

Regardless whether you think it's right or wrong, or how to read the expiration date, etc, the truth remains that Stardock probably lost out on a bunch of money they could have otherwise made, but now they will not make. This is called a marketing blunder.
I'd have to agree, a 48 hour coupon is almost worthless. While I don't want to complain about something positive (and cost me no money), it seems pointless to have it expire in just 48 hours (and having the expiration date incorrect, as "expires by 6/15/09" usually means that 6/15/09 is also included in the time given). I had wanted to use it today (the 15th) since I had a busy weekend without any way to research which game(s) I wanted to get, but apparently I can't now, and will likely
I am for showing more information, at least mana, for teammates. I am against showing anything more than health for enemies. I think the game is better than Dota when it doesn't show all that information. It creates more uncertainty and surprise, which makes the game more exhilirating, rather than just a counter-recounter. I believe it takes more skill to play a game when things are not all revealed. Otherwise we might as well take away fog of war. Having things not re
I think it's fair to pay for new demigods. Most non-subscription games come out with new purchasable expansions, not free updates, especially when you get new units/races. I wouldn't mind paying $30 for a new expansion of 4 new demigods and 5 new maps as well. That's around $5/demigod and $2 for new maps. Of course, if they just made a map editor, new maps wouldn't be a problem.

Even if priests were free, I wouldn't take them, if only to deny my enemy XP, until I was ready to push to cats.
I had no idea. Now I am going to complete a tournament with every DG!!
I've had the sound bug in multiplayer mode, too, now. It's quite disorienting.
I haven't tried this, but in terms of inventory space, you're saying this is better than just getting a Vlemish helm, then Anklets or Blood of the Fallen for favor?
It's good early on, but after I start running out of inventory space, it's the first to go.
With such generals, it's best to farm faster than them and stay out of their way for a few levels, imo. You'll have to go into an assist mode, backing up the pushes of your teammates. Frost is best, especially with Frost Nova, because it takes the minions out of play for 10 seconds with 3 points in the skill. The other option is attempt to get a parasite egg, although I've never actually tried this myself. In theory, you should be able to take out their minions fairly quickly with a f
I do a slightly different build, going for Frost Nova rather than Deep Freeze, with only one point in Deep Freeze for interrupts. I find that Frost Nova really helps towards end-game, especially against stronger creeps. The permafrost really helps, allowing me to run away from chasing melee DGs, or catch up to them if I need to finish them off with autoattacks (or slowing them down for allies to get to them). With UB, you have to run before they hit you, however, or else Diseased Claw
So, if the attack speed floor is 0.5, if you have a base rate of 0.7, then Maximum effective increase in attack speed = (100% - 0.7/0.5) = 40%.
Hmm, in the spirit of more micromanagement, how about making it so you have to be facing the target in order to target them in the first place? Having the game auto turn your character around when you select a target is just too noob and easy. /sarcasm [e digicons]*_*[/e]
This idea is excellent, I hate how everyone just leaves, no closure. [e digicons]k1[/e]
I only play against Nightmare AI and have experienced these issues. I've had friendly AI just stand in the middle of nowhere, full health, doing absolutely nothing while eveyrone else gained 2 levels (not exaggerating). It only finally started moving when an enemy approached. And no, it was not near any action so that it could get xp from dying grunts. Enemy AI also constantly chases much farther into the base than they should, resulting in triple smites against them.
