What do you know? Erebus really does bite. I like a challenge though. Maybe I'll give the little sucker a try. [e digicons][/e]

Thank you gentlemen. I'll make my first one easy (but not too easy) I made a pilgrimage here a number of years ago. I won't give any hints now, but will later if you need them.
Hiding enemy names can help prevent this, but it also works against feelings of community. I like playing against the guy who beat me last time and getting sweet revenge.
This is true. A way around this would be to make anyone in the "Friends" list always visible. Another thumbs up here for the epochs. I always assumed there would be some sort of ladder, but it's nice to hear it firsthand.
Where is the Demigod debug?
And that, of course, is the tragic flaw in the narcotics laws -- that possession of marijuana is a felony. Regardless of whether it is as harmless as some believe, or as evil and vicious as others believe, savage and uncompromising law is bad law, and the good and humane judge will jump at any technicality that will keep him from imposing a penalty so barbaric and so cruel. The self-righteous pillars of church and society demand that "the drug traffic be stamped out"
Example 1: Playing against someone known to be extremely good. Player hits skirmish and the player cares a lot about their ranking. Players gets into the game and they see that the other team has some player who they know is really good. They immediately quit. What should we do?
This one's easy. Nip this problem in the bud by not showing the player's handles in-game in this mode. When I choose to turn the knob and open the Skirmish door, I can fi
Could this have something to do with me running Windows 7 64-bit
Sorry, but no. I'm running XP SP3, and I'm reasonably certain that GPG/Stardock use Vista as their primary OS. I'm confident that GPG/SD will get this glitch ironed out in pretty short order. That's good, because I really need to 'get my chops up' before release, so that I don't completely embarrass myself.
Banned for not knowing your food history. The Greeks left recipes for flatbread with stuff on top, and the tomatoes for the sauce are native to Mexico. Ole'.
Yes, the freezes are definately still there. It's pretty smooth sailing until I get to the "Choose Your Demigod" screen, at which point the animation will periodically freeze, and there is no functionality save for the cursor. This continues into the game, rendering it unplayable. The cursor works, and the background track plays, (the wind/birds) but nothing else will work.
My first real pc game was called "Ladder". It came bundled on a floppy disc that came with my brand new KayproII. http://oldcomputers.net/kayproii.html http://ostermillar.org//ladder/

It's not the size of your hammer, it's how you use it.
Thank you gentlemen. Will there be a patch to correct this before release?
Tried to play a game last night, and the problem is MUCH worse. The game freezes at the movie screen; sometimes it will eventually pass, and sometimes not. It has frozen completely in the lobbly, so that I had to CAD out. Twice. During the game, there are regular freezes now, lasting ~10-15 seconds, then a bit of play, then another freeze, in a pretty regular cycle. I don't have a firewall, other than Windows. I have AVG antivirus running, although this has never been a problem in the
Same here. I noticed this very early yesterday morning. I was playing against 2 AI's, if that makes any difference. It seems to me to take a bit longer than 10-15 sec between stutters, but they are very definitely there.
Conficker is primarily a threat to XP. It is less likely to infect a Vista machine, but I haven't found a source that absolutely rules this out. It mutates during it's 'life cycle'. Sometimes it will act like a virus, and sometimes it acts like malware. It is imperitive that you have a fully updated anti-virus program, as well as at least one fully updated anti-malware program.
telling people to do it for themselves isn't going to fly with most people.
True. The average user won't be comfortable editing config files. What is very surprising to me is the fact that no one has written an add-on to do this. The Stardock coders are pretty darn good. I bet any one of them could knock something like this out in no time. Send it off to Mozilla, and problem solved.
Unless you are addicted to some addons
Yep, I got the mon
Believe me, no one below a certain high rank is pampered in any branch of the military. In the Air Force, you sleep in your own bunk, and eat hot food. In the Navy, you share a bunk, unless you are an officer, and eat hot food. In the Army or Marines, you'll often sleep in a mud (or dust) filled hole, and eat MRE's. The Air Force and Navy have the best schools, the Marines and Army have the best stories. &nbs
Ironic. There are four people in this thread alone that I would have hooked up if I could.
Context menu copy/paste in the postbox is not something that can be fixed.
I beg to differ. I understand how FF handles this. Frankly, I never thought this was enough of a problem to warrant this iron glove solution. It's just throwing the baby out with the bathwater, IMO. In any case, there is evidently something that can be done, and I can prove it. A co

It will only show if you are signed in. Even when it shows it is non-functional for me. Copy/paste won't work in FF, and I am not able to insert a web link. Stardock has a very good IT department. Why hasn't this been fixed? It has been months now.
