Ah, what if the ability to make your own custom army was already built into game naturally, each and every game? You could create a list of pre-set favorites of course which could be based on your favorite tactics, but aside from that you can still open up various techtrees and choose new paths, or try new things without having to collect anything. So you could still in fact make a fully custom army that will be hard to predict, but do it as you level up, and even before the game by ma

Greetings again Demigods, Now since much of the game's mechanics are pure speculation at this point, I decided to create this article in an effort to begin, what could be, the source pool for many of my suggests that may come when Beta begins. Since I've no solid idea on how the game is played, I won't take any liberties in assuming anything - but let it be known I have some interests towards making a Demigod more and more custom. Abilities to build your army and character b

I wouldn't say Spore, as that is certainly a bit of an extreme! But in Spore there were many 'Snap On' parts. Perhaps it would be interesting if all the models had 'snap on' areas you could customize. And since the game will allow you to "trick out" your castle through achievements, why not your Demigod as well?

The normal Maps are looking Grade A by the way, gamers like me appreciate the time put into making them instead of favoring higher poly models with crazy amounts of tiny details. So far the work is looking good, hope to get a handle on how well the Art blends with the game mechanics and animation. Once it leaves the hands of the Artist all they can do is hope, and like the player - hope for something really fun and enjoyable.

However, there may be one way to make 40+ Demigods a logical option for even a small Art team as GasPowered has at their disposal, and still provide a relatively low amount of skills, and in a technical fashion, low of amount of Demigods. (40+, but still low?) What I mean isn't exactly simple either, but at least it's easier that making individual demigods up to 40 (which is an idea I don't really support). But perhaps once I see the game, I could judge whether or not what it's r

Ah thanks for the post. The more I look at this game, the more I'm getting a "Shadow of the Collosus, the RTS" feeling. But that's a good thing, I rather enjoyed the look and style that came with that kind of game, and it pleases me to see it come out in what the art team as put together for Demigod. Seeing it action I'm sure will be a fine pleasure, but good art doesn't always mean solid gameplay. I look forward to seeing how it handles, and whether or not the art is worthy of the game itself.

Well I've pre-ordered as well, just hope I can actually run it on my system. So far there are number of things that look interesting about the game, but at the moment any mechanics other than what has already been explained is pure speculation. Looking forward to getting those answers first hand.

Well I felt comfortable enough to go ahead an pre-order. I'm sure I won't be dissapointed as long as my system can handle it just fine. I've always enjoyed RTS games, and the only one I've really taken great pleasure from as of late was the Dawn of War series because I could play it rather fine in the massive games which take place within it (not to mention Tau Missle tanks). Anways, Demigod looks like a lot of fun and I look forward to give it some time - even in the rough stages of B

Well I'd like to give Demigod a go, but I seriously hope the Beta doesn't demand seriously high graphic power. If they are aiming for something like SupCom then I should be rather fine. I'm always concerned when a lot of action happens on screen, that is when I tend to get the most bogged down and in an RTS that tends to mean whomever has the fastest system wins.

Alright, I can run Supreme Commander just fine - but I'm still rather concerned. This is because SupCom requires 1gig of ram, and I have 2gigs. In short, I have .5 gigs going into the OS, leaving 1.5 gigs free to play - so no worries there. But games which come out further down the road, like Demigod for instance, have a habit of wanting bigger and better graphics. So I fear Demigod will demand 2gigs of RAM to play, which would leave me short .5 gigs. My system specs are as follows: <b

I'll try the Demo first, and if that doesn't work out then I've got no options. So don't worry about my specs just yet.

Greetings, Nice to see Gas Powered Games is still steaming along just fine, even with the high price of Gas these days (ohh, bad joke!). Anyway, I'd really like to Pre-Order the game, but a few things are holding me back from really wanting to do it. First of all, I'd like to help out on Beta, so that is why I would like to Pre-Order, so my main concern is whether or not my system can really handle this game. I'm not looking for exact system specs, since I'm pretty positive t
