I wondered this too. GPG where planning to overhaul GPGnet anyways.. so why not use their talents to make impulse better? :P

Okay even if it runs 10x better, I bet it requires ShaderModel 2.0 That means 6600 or better. AND HOLYCRAP BRAD IS FROGBOY? Omg I had no idea... no wonder member #1
Damn TheBigOne beat me to it :( But i'll say it anyways :) 1. Yeah, any combinations as answered. I personally think it'd be really cool to play a 3 Generals vs. 3 Assassins sort of match. :D 2. Single player will basically just be training, I believe. Which is how I like it. ;o 3. It's sort of Aeon of Stryfe or however you spell it inspired with the Assassins, and for Generals it's more like an RTS but I don't think theres a heavy base building or economy aspect.. I belie
10x?... Okay that's a little lofty to claim.. Just 3x better would be nice though. Supcom runs like 1/3rd or 1/4th as good as sins. :x
Yarlen said he'll try to get it up tomorrow on TGN and it'll cost 6 tokens ($42)
Assassins can be support demigods.. or so can Generals. It's just Assassins only control their one unit. Generals can build additional ones (angels, minotaurs, catapultasaurus, maybe more plus 1 unique unit per general IIRC) and control big armys like a normal RTS. But just because they're called ASsassins.. it's just the distinction of it being one person. The Assassin could, I assume, be a healer. It could do big heals to one unit, do aoe heals, chain heals, or something.
it's on the supcom engine.. But hopefully it'll run significantly better than supcom does otherwise a ton of potential customers will be missed on. But that graphics card is so old. You can get a 7800gt now for like $100 can't you?
Nope. Get gold from killing, use gold to buy things. Basically your enemy is the vespene gas. You require moar.
Well I want to know what kind of box it'll be (cardboard, plastic, or tin?) and what's in it before I'd do the boxed one so I think I'll wait a bit.
Not if we put special code to lag you.
hehe
While I am dissapointed that GPG decided not to self-publish for some reason after they said they were going to go that route a few months ago in their GPG Newsletter, at least they went with Stardock. I was very happy how Sins was handled and how it has turned out, so it hopefully will bode well for Demigod too.
Yeah I was at first glad to hear they are self publishing. But now I THINK I'm more
