Pruda and mike, I can remember the first time I ran into the 'warp across the void' on Crucible. I was every bit as pissed as you guys were. And I got stoned on the forum because 'everybody knows it was designed that way." I still consider it broken, and will only play it if i'm sure my team can match exploits with the other team. It does add some unusual strats to the gameplay. As you guys have also noticed, broken maps and exploits aside, Demigod has some pre

Hehe, Pacov... you missed the tongue in cheek. They did get the bad draw, and they did not quit, and they won a great, fun game. I agree with you on random. Play what you get. You might have a blast and even come up with some new strats.

It's the best $5-$10 you can spend on a computer game once you get started. The gameplay is awesome. De-syncs and bugs, not so much. (Great analogy with the cigarettes !!!! I swear my blood pressure goes up every tough game.)

Mistake #1- You played the game out rather than quit right away after drawing the TB & DA vs. 2 EB's with common rooks. Turned out to be a pretty fun game to watch. Your team did the better job moving in for ganks, and your DA saved one of your teammates with a sweet swap, ruining beast's lunch and

Oops, almost fixed. This game is still wrong, don't have time to check the rest right now. http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/1430336/player/63555/

I just had the same experience. Our team won a fun 51 minute match. Citadel fell. All six players ended with a loss. I had the privilege/honor to play a pugger with Zen-God a couple days ago. We won a 2v2 against a premade. His rook, my reg, against 2 erebus(i). He chewed em up nicely. Game never showed up on the stats. Pretty much 1 in every 3 games ends early because of disconnects since the patch. I'm starting to believ

Actually, triple rook might be pretty interesting to counter. As far as 7380 damage in one second, I'm not going in there, but that's only 1 spot on the map. Gotta make em move. I remember a random game where the other team had a douible DA. Was pretty easy to get double swapped into another time zone. Triple UB or triple oak would seem tougher to impossible. But that's not the point. I'm talking about 2 semi equal teams with the differ

As far as 'man up', I agree. With pug games (they do still exist)(and yes, it's more fun with voice, except all my good buds moved on to LoL or HoN or some other inferior game) , my big gripe is those who see the random draw and decide their side has no chance so they quit before the 3 minute deadline. Geez, random is RANDOM, and you should play what you get.

It's been a great tourney so far. Great replays to watch. And at least a partial re-vitalization of Demigod. Next time, how about multiple divisions? Tier 1, Tier 2, and maybe win % lower divisions. Maybe shorter time limits on rounds. Anyway, I want to thank Pacov for putting this one together.

Wow, I thought Boxxy was kidding about the exploit deal. Pick Crucible, then pick Erebus, and then get exploited by Oak??? I love it! Either Crucible is 'broken' for generals, or Crucible was purposely slanted toward generals, but in either case, there are no exploits, only strats. Anyway, I'm glad you posted, Boxxy, it was fun to watch. And kudos to thomas (Grah666) for a creative strat. The great deception 'The whole time he was asking me how to improve a

It's well worth the $5. It may become one of your favorite addictions/irritants. Good matches are incredible. Poor matchups, not so good. Give it a shot.

Your's was by far the best site. Awesome work and a great demigod learning aid. Thank you for your contribution.

Grimunk, I was on the other team in the game you were talking about. You made it clear the odd settings were not your idea, and they had equal effect on both teams. Gradzelli was an ass in that game, even in winning. Not sure if there was a race he missed insulting, but he tried for all of em. (Was a great game tho, aside from the insults.) Just remember who the idiots are and avoid them as best you can. There are still a lot of fun players pugging. <

Hopefully, the constructive criticism from Irek and ZehDon will show you there are some helpful players in the Demigod community. I've had several LAN buddies give up the game because of bad experiences online, so I know the 'de-syncers' and 'elitists' have cost the community some players. What I get from your post is that you didn't care much for the treatment your partners gave you. If your partners want to help you, and you don't want help, it's gonna be a bad ex

Thanks for the update! It's great to see there is still some interest in fixing/improving Demigod. It's the best/most fun/most addictive online team game I've ever played, even with the flaws. Be wonderful to see a little attention paid to Demigod.
