+10 mana is nothing. It'll give you an extra level 1 fireball every 30 seconds. Whoop. De. Doo. you can get far better for an item that costs only 200 gold (combat mana pot)...and -300 health will hurt you far, far more than spending 200 gold every 1.5 minutes. For it to be really worth it and keeping with the spirit of the thing: Item: toggle ability -50 hp/sec for a +75/sec restore mana AURA making i

or just have a "lock on" command, like alt-left click which will force the DG to always attack that target if he's facing the target and in range.
Honestly all Impulse really needs is a working chat system and a notification that "your friend xxxxx has joined game yyyyyy" hopping into a game with a friend is way too hard to do casually right now.
Lern2Play kthxbye
I think that what the people for whom the game doesn't work right and feel the need to flame on the forum don't realize is that for every single game that is out there, there's a subset of customers for which that game simply doesn't work (any modern game anyway). Every single game forum I've seen, there's a few people who feel the same way. I wouldn't pay too much attention to them, they need a good flogging. Now there are some games that deserve bashing but not DG. The way SD fixed DG's con
Best bet would be to use a Rook and spam towers etc. to control map. While Sedna has a very good tank, the rook with towers and all has some pretty amazing DPS if you get in range. Otherwise you might be screwed =D
Well being ok with senseless violence but perish the thought of a few boobies has been the hallmark trait of a lot of religions for thousands of years now (see Crusades, inquisition etc. etc.) Blood, gore, pain == ok. Boobies == mortal sin. Moral relativism is crap. People are entitled to their beliefs, but I don't have to respect them.
naw, I stand up for the fact that you have the right to an opinion...and my opinion is that your value system is screwed up =D
OMG its a video game with tons of violence, guys getting crushed flat by a giant castle wielding a 3 ton hammer into a splatter of blood....and you're concerned over a couple of virtual boobies. [e digicons]:D[/e]
If the enemy team allows you to get enough gold to get this stuff, they're screwed any way you play. If both teams get enough gold to start getting artifacts like these, then they'll have this and worse waiting for you when you close in =D
Greed is good is only half of the capitalist mantra...the other half is honoring contracts (which Gamestop is conviniently ignoring here IMHO).
I had a fairly new Netgear router (can't find the model) and couldn't connect. Then I switched to a WRT54G CDF8 (v. 3.0) with Tomato firmware and have zero problems connecting to games.
I recently acquired an elderly WRT54G Linksys router and upgraded it with Tomato firmware, replacing an almost brand-new Netgear router. Presto, no more connection woes with Demigod. Oh and btw that router is more than 2.5 years old I think.
A Nuke in space doesn't have anywhere near the destructive potential that it does in an atmosphere. The actual "explosion" part of a nuclear blast comes from superheated air near the nuke itself. In space if it hit near enough to a ship it would melt it, and if it hit near enough and close to some material that's susceptible to being vaporized there'd even be an explosion. SO...effects of nuke in space: 1. Temperature 2. light pressure from radiation. </p
Action oriented == jade empire Great game, sort of reminds me of the witcher in terms of gameplay, but less depressing storyline and graphics =D
I don't fly in 100 man fleets, I fly in 5-30 man fleets at the most. A good illustration of my point is the Megathron vs the Armageddon. 1v1 the Megathron will always win given equal skills and player skill. 5v5 the Armageddons will annihilate the megathrons while the Megas are trucking from Armageddon to armageddon to get into blaster range. There is more to EVE than solo nanoships and 100 man fleets. BTW, when I talk about actual tanking, more often than not I'm using a buff
I second The Witcher. It has a fantastic story and great voice acting and graphics while still having good gameplay and enjoyable combat. Only downside is that its on the long side (looking at 50-70 hours for a playthrough) which might not be a bad thing depending on what you're looking for. Other ideas are mostly bioware games. If you haven't played Jade Empire its definitely worth getting it, Baldur's Gate+sequels, Mass Effect, etc. Oblivion...doesn't have a great story, but
Disagree about amarr and caldari ships being designed around sniping and PVE. They are designed around gang warfare with specialized ships doing specialized things rather than a jack of all trades approach. Minmatar and Gallente usually have a mid and lowslot layout designed to be able to tank and tackle stuff as well as fit a propulsion mod at the same time. Amarr and Caldari, barring several specific ships tend to be more specialized. Amarr fleet philosophy revolves around heavily armored s
I would like to proclaim that no matter what changes are made, I am always satisfied with the balance ^.^
really it needs about 3 things to make it on par with GPGnet. Friends, easy private messaging, and clans (clan chat). Also if it doesn't work for you why don't you make a bug thread about it instead of whining?
T3 cruisers will end up being primary [e digicons]-_-[/e]
I hate EFT warrioring but here goes. You're absolutely right, that setup doesn't fit, it should have 7 guns instead of 8. However, the setup razor uses has 3x trimarks on it, giving it 153k EHP vs 130k for the Rokh with extender rigs. Also the rokh would now have a sig radius the size of a small moon making it easier to hit. Also messing with DPS graphs in EFT, I found that the apoc has significantly better tracking, making its effective DPS vs moving targets quite a bi
Overclocking mostly works to make lower end processors perform like upper-end ones in the same lineup, with some exceptions (AMD Black Series). Since you're at the top of that line it won't do much for you.
1) Point your lasers at other players. 2) See #1 3) Graphics are ok, gameplay > graphics 4) The world is made by the players. Join and become active in a corp and/or alliance. I play it to be a pirate YARR. Small scale PVP action ftw.
