i think when they ban u they ban ur IP as well... so unless he when out and bought a new computer, IPS and moved a few blocks to the right then i think it might be a diffrent person.
You don't need a new comp for this - just to change your IP. Mine allows me to do it if I wanted for example (static IP - get X changes free before I have to pay)

I joined a game that gunslinger bara was playing with 2 of his gunslinger mates - vs me and 3 randoms. They let me in, even though my ping was about 350 to all of them. It worked with no issues. From what I have noticed lately, it is people unable to keep a sim speed of 6 or above that lag the game, unless the ping gets over 400...
Real world mechanics do not fully apply - they are fighting on a mystical plain!!! Manual states this. It is what allows you to stack helms or armor etc...
counter signed - not a practical option for reasons previously stated. And I don't want someone chosing to kick me unless it is host pre-game (which I don't always like but can't do anything about - DAMN AMERICANS. A PING OF 350 IS PLAYABLE!!!!)
No new maps yet. Impulse is the only way to get DG online and you need an Impulse account anyway to play MP... Stardock have said that they will allow games on Steam IF Steam only games are allowed on Impulse...
Exploit - since everyone else has to buy kit or go through the towers, then it must surely have been missed in the original design - it is a game breaker otherwise as you lose your portal...
Double post - stupid code pigeons. Bara needs to fix it instead of losing to me at DG ;)
One of the new generals needs minions that slap other minions with fish... Perhaps it can be called Bruce (mystical being from the university of woolloomooloo)
Any game under 3 minutes is considered a non-game in the stats post patch (1.1). To avoid penalty for someone with a bad connection requiring the game to be aborted etc...
oom works for me (once I worked out what it meant :D) back shop I often see these with no other text...
Just checked from Demigod (previous one was Sins) - both gone :(
In game name should not be linked to Impulse account name!!! Should be like Sins - you have an account name and then can a a player (or players) name...
Seconded - I spent ages trying to get my ports working. Turns out the issue was there end as the code wouldn't work on my router/modem until after the patch, but I still spent ages trying to work out the right combination... How about a program that diagnoses the connection issue and walks you through steps to get it setup???
you don't really believe someone tells you where to download bots at the official forum?!
No - my question is how would someone create one to hack the game enough to perform this action. Surely the game syncing checksum logic would catch this???
More to the point - how do people create these bots???
Hack?
Yes?
The communities map editor doesnt have to have all the functionality/cool 3d backdrops that GPG's one has. It would be fine just having the paths floating in a void or something like that.
Like Rainbow Road from Mario Karts???
Why would you not just run it on windows though???
If anyone has a code to spare, I would definitely love to buy this game...it looks sweet
I repeat what I said above - the 50% code finished 2 weeks ago, and the 20% code has finished as well I believe
You won't be able to patch the game anyway as Impulse runs on the .NET platform and requires IE7 functionality. So even if it did, you couldn't play MP...
An option to AUTO log into Impulse would be nice - I don't share a computer so that is one extra step I have to do for MP. And how are you supposed to bail on a skirmish game when it won't start - I hear the "A player has left the game" message and I have to kill the process to log back on. Do that too often too quickly and Impulse won't let you back on again for a bit...
I fail to see how a ping would be a bad thing... since its nothing mroe then a small amount of data sent to a target to see if anything is there or not...
That is PING as in the test program... As opposed to a user's ping - which is their response to data time - the higher it is, the longer you have to wait for an answer to your question...
Why did you not check the minimum specs before buying if you are not sure?
Do you lose the mana that you would have used to cast a spell if you get interupted??? I tried to play with Senda yesterday and I tried to heal as I ran away. I got interupted and didn't have the mana to cast again - my ally was not happy and wanted to know why I died without healing...
Surely Raknet would ask Stardock what they wanted to do with their code - you work on building relationships with your clients for things like this. You don't just give them a dll and a manual because you want their business in the future for new games. And I doubt you just pick a networking package off the shelf without doing research which would include discussing your architecture with the provider. Surely Raknet must have known how its software was to be used and/or had information that e
