I did this for a while to just earn enough favor to buy all the items. it was also good to do when favor kept resetting http://forums.demigodthegame.com/349907 Thats what you need to do. I may be wrong however i think currentley you dont gain rank for custom games ?? or favor ?? It is exploiting the stats however the system should be robust enough to stop this.
your game is installed in a directory C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe regardless of whether you got it on impulse or otherwise.
the speed increase is not 10% of whatever you had currentley. The formula works as such 2 items/skills +10% speed +15% speed they are summed and then applied to give +25% speed your calculation method would be 1.1*1.15 = +27% speed. as you probably had multiple +speed items you calculated the wrong number is all. :)

are the other people high ping to each other? could it be your computer/net/router can't deal with that much traffic; is struggling and creating a bottleneck?
its difficult to join in progress because you would have to deal with the connectivity issues of the game already. there would also have to be major overhauls where games in progress are periodically pinged by a server asking about them, who is playing in the game etc. when a player drops they would have to contact this server, get a list of games, it would assumably filter only games you were recentley in. the amount of memory demand on the server could be

search on game replays, one of the guys there worked it out. they freeze fairly often though and lack a lot of UI information.

-An investment banker DG that steals gold from allies promising greater returns later. Similar to TB he has 2 forms 'white collar criminal' and 'company man'. Criminal form at level 15 moves away to escape extradition. Company man is able to 'bore the socks off' enemy DGs by talking about accounting, the spell grants a speed bonus when moving away from the banker and a slow when moving toward.
After constantly having my achievements reset after every game. Something i was personally not fussed about i went to check my achievements after playing a single game in the new patch. I have played quite a number of games prepatch (mostly as oak http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/demigods/player/25364/) My achievements page shows i have all the achievements for oak (which i would have legitimately) however i also have most of the achievements for UB, qot and regulus.&n
I don't think rook is OP, he in unbalanced in that he is only good when around his towers, and gets picked off like an old scab when he is away from them. I think upgrading his survivability with more armor or health and decreasing the hp of his early towers (so they scale better with other DGs power; right now at the start they are difficult to kill and endgame they are very weak) could be investigated for a potential change. I may be invul for 3 seconds but how useful is that when I am sitting back near by health crystral, warp you to me as you go to capture a flag and have 3 team-mates waiting
Retraction............ this ability alone would make this DG essential for any team, you can effectively have a regulus to see (with the FOG mark) and Kulea and you will kill EVERY retreating DG. Rift stuns enemy DGs for 3 seconds then deals 1000 damage...... Combine this with retraction and her ability to damage nearby enemies when she casts spells... gg
Forcing decisions like this sounds nice but what if you're the person always connecting late and can't choose to play your favourite DG because of it. If you want something like this try organising with the players in the lobby, it would be just as easy as having a constant stream of people entering the game, finding the setting was on and then leaving due to you already having picked UB.
