Banned for taking about American stuff.
My vote goes for Star Wars, purely on a fanboy level before considering the facts. To be fair, Halo doesn't even deserve to be compared to Star Wars. I'm not saying that SW is the greatest piece if sci-fi ever created, gods no, but Halo doesn't even come CLOSE to it. And really, how can you say for sure what Covenant plasma can do to Imperial shielding? Is there any record of plasma weapons being used vs those shields? And the reverse holds true as well, we have no idea how effective
Glitches are OP as well, as are bugs. Nobody can beat me when I get stuck where a tower once stood!
I got my boxed one but something's missing...the thing on the far left of the picture, above the poster. For some reason i didn't get it. Not sure if it's a change that you made before shipping or if it actually is missing...just wondering why I don't have it is all. I don't even know what is is/what's in it.
oh really because if that's true he should come into this thread and call you an idiot, because that really is stupid.
And I would salute him and say "Yes Sir!" Just because someone is really high up, doesn't mean they can't let people know how wrong they are. And as has been said, he wasn't the one doing the banning. The people concerned obviously haven't been reading or watching the devblogs that he's been posting with updates o
As my friend (Mooglepies) just said to me... "Frogboy is like House." I think it's a perfect comparison.

Well, since this is a Rook thread, I suggest we post any painted versions of the collector's edition model :P
That's awesome, thanks dan. And also thank you Fred for not lynching me!
Barely. But yay karma!
Don't lynch me, but I LIKE using Windows Media Player [e digicons]^_^'[/e] and I'm not going to download a different one just to get the track listing. Seems rather pointless...
I did a quick search but found nothing, so forgive me if it's already been posted somewhere. I just picked up my copy of DG from the royal mail office and I'm listening to the soundtrack right now. To be fair, I love it. I'm just wondering if there's an official track listing for it? I'm not really a fan of just having Track # as the title for a song...So could we have it posted somewhere? I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Mine came in on Tuesday, but I wasn't there to pick it up. Went to the Royal Mail office today and I now have it in my posession. Cheers SD/GPG!
QoT is by far my favourite Demigod. Can't quite place why though. Personally, I've never been a fan of using the shamblers. They just seem to take up a skill I could sink into maxing out my bramble shield/ground spikes so I can get Godess of Thorns. Other than that, I go for Uproot. However, after reading this I'm not sure compost does what I thought it did, which is healing me when I kill things. If it's not, I'd probably switch that out for Spike Wave and maybe a point or two into s
I personally don't think this is much of an issue. Sure, in a long game of Sins or whatever, its helpful, but when the games only last 20-30 minutes, there really is no point at all.
Maybe you could have an option to toggle a display of your number of minions/towers and a single bar with the total health or a health bar either for each one.
Banned because I just lost the game Also: Oh Shi- post #666 in this thread. I'd be evil if I hadn't watched QI and it told me that 616 is the number of the beast, not 666.
Actually, I could see this working, using the boat idea. If a Demigod could board a boat used for creep transport, it would foce the idea of moving up with them to attack a flag or another Demigod. Perhaps also if the DG was able to take temporary control of a group of creep to divert off course to attack a demigod wading through the water by disembarking from the boat. After alighting, the boat disappears/respawns near the portal and the creep then follow the DG to whatever they were going t
Everyone knows Stardock want to be a competetive force in the industry, especially using Impulse. Take a look at Valve and their constant stream of updates, tweaks and bugfixes for games like TF2 and L4D. I know the comparison is old and tired by now, but you have to think about things like this. Demigod will continue to be updated, upgraded and expanded on for as long as people play it.
A Big Daddy demigod would be quite fun. With Little Sister minions. That would be funny...Never happen, mind, but still. Yeah, I think the idea of boat-confined demigods would be a bit silly. Imagine the size and strength of the boat you'd need to hold Rook!
I agree. Both Stardock and GPG deserve massive amounts of praise for getting this game together. Not only that, but for putting up with all our moaning when we see something is so blatantly overpowered that we would have expected them to have seen it themselves! As to your main post, I find that quite interesting to get an insider's opinion. If people who work at a company aren't too keen on all the red tape, then imagine how the fans feel! On the other hand though, I do understand al
Sorry to raise another question, but will we still get the boxed version around the time of the US release rather than when the UK/EU retailers are saying it's out? I'm pining for that Rook miniature [e digicons][/e]
I'm quite interested about this as well. All the sites I've been on show the release as late April/early May. Does this have any bearing on when the UK people get their pre-ordered boxed copy?
